The house is an old quaint 1930's era home with hardwood floors, cedar ceilings, large yards and a front porch with mountain views. Hiking trails are nearby as is Hot Springs National Park Bathhouse Row. I recommend Quapaw Bathhouse Spa… $25.00 for all day with 4 hot springs mineral water jacuzzi pools. The Waters restaurant, Ohio Club, El Diablo Tacos, Arlington tea or brunch, pizza, museums, DuckTours... walk 20 minutes / 5 minute drive with Free parking downtown on Exchange street. Cozy and Clean!! My housekeeper and I use Clorox that kills 99.9 and Isopropyl alcohol 70% disinfectant. There are 5 big rooms in approximately 1,100 square feet, living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, front bedroom (and 2 extra rooms laundry and bathrooms) . Big fenced in backyard except for 12 feet open across driveway. Classic safe and quiet neighborhood in Historic District. Beautiful natural lakes, fishing, boating, hiking in the National and State forests, Duck tours, MidAmerica Museum, Garvan Gardens, great restaurants and more! The Quapaw Bathhouse Spa is my favorite. I enjoy the Hot Springs jacuzzi pools at least once a week (and they are just a few minutes to drive or walk). Free parking on Exchange Street. Please be aware this house is a 90 year old house so expect creaky noises of hardwood floors, air conditioner fans, etc. The water pressure dips if more than one faucet is used. For shower use… wait for tub faucet water to get warm… then pull up on faucet knob. My neighborhood noises are the typical noises of an all American neighborhood… occasional lawn mower, occasional barking dog, etc. My housekeeper or handyman or I might be in the basement/laundry room for a few minutes but there is no access to house from basement. You are alone in the house, no one will disturb your privacy. Park on the driveway and/or free street parking in front of the house. The driveway leads down into an extra large backyard for pets and big enough for a horse and parking for horse trailer. I’m available by phone, text and email. I live close by but I travel a lot. This safe quiet Historic District neighborhood is inside the National Park under Federal and State jurisdiction. Drive or walk around the surrounding street such as Quapaw Ave. to see many 100 year old American dream homes. West Mountain Trailhead is nearby. As you drive on Central Avenue look for the Free Parking structure off of Prospect Street and on Exchange street. Walk to Downtown Hot Springs and Historic BathHouse Row in the National Park. Bring a bathing suit and enjoy the 4 separate pools of different temperature hot spring mineral water with jacuzzi jets and the best massages I’ve ever experienced...at the Historic Quapaw BathHouse in the Hot Springs National Park.
