Built in 1902 by a local teacher this home has had only 4 owners and continues to be visited by relatives of all previous owners. Large Yard for play and Hammock for relaxing. Fall color is amazing here! A wonderful place to bring kids to get them away from electronics and observe nature and their inner voice! Bring games, puzzles, books! There is a Keurig in addition to a traditional coffee maker, we supply toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, beach towels, bedding, bath towels, hair dryer, first aid kit. Please Note the characteristics of the shore line is rocky and sand, water shoes are ideal to bring (I do have a collection, so if needed please just ask & LMK sizes) There is also a public beach, map provided in Cottage. BEST TO SHOP FOR FOOD PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, in Harbor Springs or Petoskey. There is a General Store for supplemental items, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. The Crepe Cart next to General has amazing selection. Good Hiking Trails directly behind home to the Forest Conservancy. The water here is clean & pure from the Lake Superior water plate, fans fill up jugs to bring home! Guest access There is a lockbox, code 6372 OR the door will be open with keys on the counter depending on arrival time. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ON YARD. Please recycle.
