Guest access Cabaña and terrace are private. We have four cabins on a plot of 1000 m2. In front of the lagoon of the seven colors of Bacalar, each cabin is private and there are common intermediate gardens. The garden , stairway to lagoon and dock is private for our guest. It's really amazing just to be in the Cabaña all day and night with so much sights of the lagoon changing colors and shapes . Also a lot of bird watching . Other things to note BoaBoa Bacalar COVID-19 Measures As the situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold, we want to assure you that the safety, health, and well-being of our guests and staff is our number one priority. We have been closely following and adhering to the guidelines and recommendations issued by the World Health Organization (WHO). There have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at this property, and the municipality of Bacalar remains with NO cases of Coronavirus. PROCEDURES AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES We have adopted the following enhanced cleanliness and sanitation plan that consists of added precautionary measures throughout the aspects of the guest and team member experience. 1. Guest & Employee Health: Antibacterial hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout areas of the hotel and in the rooms, with additional signage throughout back-of-house and guest areas reminding everyone of important health and hygiene protocols such as handwashing and physical distancing. Physical contact will be minimized as much as possible, and we will continue to provide contact with a local 24/7 doctor to provide medical assistance as needed. 2. Cleaning Protocols and Sanitation: We implemented the use of cleaning products similar to Ecolab with standards that meet EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines and are approved for use and effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. We have increased the frequency of deep-cleaning and disinfecting all common areas, public spaces and guest rooms (in addition to back of house areas) with an emphasis on high-contact surfaces such as door handles, room keys, handrails, tables, seating areas, chairs and more. 3. Physical Distancing: Guests and employees are instructed to practice physical distancing by standing six feet away from other groups who are not traveling with them. Additionally, furniture placement throughout all common areas and back-of-house has been rearranged to allow for increased spacing, including redesigned layouts for meetings and events.
