Nestled on 70 acres of oceanfront property in Rockport, Maine, the cottages at Oakland Seashore are the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, vacation with friends, or a family gathering. Formerly the Oakland Seashore Motel & Cabins, I recently purchased the property and have decided to rent a few of the cottages this summer and fall on a weekly basis. Reminiscent of a bygone era, these cottages are simple and provisioned with the basics, but have the most remarkable ocean views. All units are Non-Smoking and include a small electric heater and fresh linens. Kitchenettes include dishes, flatware, pots and pans. Basic cooking utensils, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. We also include a set of towels. Guests should bring their own soaps, shampoos and other bathroom amenities. Facility maintenance and property management are available by phone 24/7. The former office is not staffed, but guests will be provided a local phone number for emergencies. Secluded oceanfront wooded property with exclusive pebble beach access with picnic tables and fire rings to enjoy. The property is located at 112 Dearborn Lane, just off of coastal Route 1 in Rockport, Maine. The property is 5 minutes north of Rockland and 10 minutes south of Camden. Easy access to all of our areas best shopping and dining options. Our oceanfront cottages are rustic with limited amenities. We do offer robust Wi-Fi, but the cottages do not have TV's or telephones. Cellular phone access for US Cellular, and Verizon customers should be adequate. AT&T customers may experience limited service. The great appeal of our property is the premier ocean front location, amazing views, privacy and seclusion from the hustle and bustle, quiet and solitude.
