Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking. TV, DVD/video and Wi-fi. Great tourist lake area, small town nearby with shopping and restaurants. Itasca State Park 20 miles. The cabin has an open concept with fully equipped kitchen opening into dining and living areas. Guests have full access to living and sleeping areas. The cabin is 6 miles south of park Rapids which features many eateries and shops. A few favorites are Bella’s Cafe (great coffee!), MinneSoda Fountain (a classic soda fountain), The Royal Bar (great burgers) and Great Northern Café (breakfast). You will enjoy driving through the Northwoods beauty and visiting small towns along the way. If heading north on Highway 10 from the Twin Cities be sure to stop in Motley at Morey’s Fish House for delectable treats! Charlie's Marine in Park Rapids offers small motors for rent for the fishing boat. Life vests of a range of sizes are available for your use. Bring own fishing equipment. Large patio doors open on to the deck. There is a screen door to keep flying insects out, however, should you have small children with you please slide screen door to the side so little ones (or big ones) don't walk through the screen!
