Wooden House - Lavras Novas

Located 100 meters from downtown Lavras Novas (and 30 minutes from a waterfall), Casa de Madeira combines privacy with proximity to the main street. The house is cozy and complete. Living room with all the comforts, fireplace, large bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi with the highest possible speed in the region (35 Mbps). It has a large garden area. If you are interested in art, you can also purchase original and authentic art. The space Casa de Madeira, as it is affectionately known in the city, was built by our parents more than two decades ago. They were among the first “outsiders” to discover this paradise that is Lavras Novas and it is already part of the city's history. We maintain the house with all the care and attention to make the stay pleasant both for the guests and for when we decide to pay a visit ourselves. A real house, built by the family for the family, which we happily share with those who want a home experience, comfort, quality, and warmth. The house is well equipped, with new mattresses, quality bedding, blankets, table towels, refrigerator, clay water filter (it may take time to fill, we suggest checking and filling if necessary), gas stove, microwave, air fryer and a wide variety of kitchen utensils (cups, glasses, bowls, dishes, pots (pressure and common), frying pan, sandwich maker, blender, Nespresso coffee machine, thermos, wine opener). We also provide a variety of basic products for the time of arrival at the house: toilet paper (4 rolls), 70% liquid alcohol, face towel (we do not provide bath towels) and carpet in the bathrooms, matches, candles, loofah and sink detergent, dish and floor cloth, garbage bag (2), etc. (these products will not be replenished during the stay) If you want to use firewood for the fireplace, bundles can be purchased in advance for an extra advance payment. When using the fireplace, make sure that no embers fall on the rug and keep the environment ventilated. Never sleep with the fireplace lit due to the known risk of intoxication. The property has its own parking area for one vehicle, uncovered, inside the land to the left of the house, marked by brick paving. The garage is not so simple because the street is narrow and does not support a large vehicle. Please keep the garage gates and all others that give access to the garden of the house closed at all times, to prevent the entry of horses, cows and other animals. The Wooden House is quite safe, however, whenever you leave, lock the house properly and close the windows, as we cannot be held responsible for any occurrences in this area. For safety, whenever you leave, take the keys. Have a good stay!
