The exterior of our home inclues a 600 sq. foot covered wraparound porch where we gather, read and paint--even on rainy days (a real plus as we do get warm rain). The interior is all custom made by one of the local artisan contractors, including slotted bamboo kitchen cupboards and custom carved doors and accent pieces. We are also continously adding to our art collection which currently includes several colorful paintings. This truly feels like an inviting home base, from which you can explore the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica. Sitting on our deck looking over the lake is like being on tropical safari. The area is a serene, magical place to rendezvous with nature. We are 40 minutes from La Fortuna (much closer than many lake homes) and even closer to zip lining, kayaking, horseback riding and gorgeous Volcano Arenal. The house has a spacious, open floor plan and wrap around deck with spectacular views. We enjoy the breeze off the lake, which provides comfort year round. We hope you come enjoy our slice of heaven!
