Similar to a studio apartment – bedroom, kitchen, and living space combined into one cozy setting, complete with the warmth and smells from a cast iron wood stove. The home has one king size bed, a sofa bed and an oversized couch. On the main floor is an spacious full bath featuring an old school clawfoot tub, and a spare half bath (great for emergencies) can be found on the lower level. Internet, ROKU TV, stereo with blue tooth, and wireless printer are also on site and in excellent working condition. Parking space for 2 cars is available in front...no parking on street. The house was constructed in the 1930s...one of the last original homes used as a country getaway by the city dwellers back in the day. Central heating and air, along with the wood stove, keep the home very comfortable. Guest Access You’ll of course be provided with the essentials, such as a washer and dryer, fresh towels and bedsheets, and all the appliances you’d have in your home kitchen. The lower level is used for miscellaneous storage but feel free to use it to access the half bathroom or lake. As a guest on Bishop Lake, you’ll have access to our dock. With the EXCEPTION of the pontoon boat, everything on the dock is yours to take advantage of...fire pit, gas grill, Jon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, and sun. Guest access Whole space accessible to include kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, and Jon boat. Your own personal watercraft NOT allowed on lake. Life vests required at all times. Other things to note Guest’s visitors shall not exceed 2 people at anytime and NO MUSIC played thru speakers is allowed at anytime outside. QUIET TIME after 10pm. While on the lake, loud, boisterous and profanity laced behavior is also prohibited. Neighbors are good respectful people who expect quiet surroundings. Just to be clear...if they don’t get it they will let ME and YOU know about it! PLEASE ADHERE TO THE RULES.
