Family House spaciously sleeps 12+ /5 bedrooms/ 3.5 baths/near MSU & downtown. Family House is for overnight stays and relaxation; Affordable family gathering is the aim of this space, not high-volume parties. The space Family home in secluded neighborhood approximately 2 miles from the Mississippi State University (MSU) campus. Includes 2 true master bedrooms with private bathrooms; 2 spacious bedrooms which share a bathroom; a study/office with single bed; and a recreational room with a futon sleeper. The property sleeps 13 people comfortably and is to be used for overnight stays + relaxation. Outdoor spaces include spacious covered front porch, covered back deck/patio, large pool, outdoor kitchen, large charcoal barbecue pit, .5 bath, lake(no fishing), small fire pit, and 3.5 acres of lot/yard space. Public transportation pick-up spot to and from MSU or downtown Starkville for sporting, arts, or entertainment events is located just outside the neighborhood (under .5 mile). Family House is a spacious, secluded, lovely, humbly-appointed home with decor affectionately referred to as "Cracker Barrel" style. Items in the home are curated from family keepsakes that tell a stories of the ancestors of the homeowners. Spacious, secluded, wooded full of birds, water fowl, critters, and deer. Just a lovely comfortable, non-stuffy place! Surrounding a lake with common shady grassy spaces, the permanent neighboring homeowners and residents prefer privacy. Most will wave, say hello, and leave other residents and guests to enjoy life in this kind, gentle, nook of Starkville. There is no fishing allowed for Air B & B guests. Guest access All areas of the property are open to guests except those marked with "no access" signs. Most "no access" areas are locked. These are storage spaces holding personal, technical, and maintenance supplies that guests will not need. Please adhere to the signage. Other things to note This is a special, comfortable space where guests can relax and not have to walk on egg shells. The house is durable and built for relaxation. Pool, lake (no fishing), 3.5 acre lot allows for a full kick ball game and exploring in the forest. Commute to town and campus is less than five minutes, literally.
