Casa Del Lobo - Ecological finca in Tapia style

The house just 10min by car/mototaxi (45min walking)outside the colonial village Barichara. The house, in the traditional Colombian Tapia style, is an ecological building with thick walls, which allow to keep always a pleasant temperature inside. The house consists of two interconnected areas: - 1. bedrooms, living room and bathrooms; - 2. kitchen and living area. The whole house is surrounded by terraces with hammocks. The living area is semi-open and offers spectacular views of the Andes. The space Our house is particularly suitable for a family or a group. It is located on a private ground of 30 acres. A large social area with a dining table facing an open kitchen allows to sit together for convivial moments. The house is a new building (2019) in a traditional Colombian style with contemporary elements - and all the comforts of a modern holiday home. - Bedroom 1: a king size bed with mosquito net, although mosquitoes are relatively rare here - especially in the dry season - and a corner to try your clothes; - Bedroom 2: two bunk beds, a wardrobe and a small desk; - a living room with sofa bed (2x2m); - 2 bathrooms with toilet, sink and hot shower with rain effect. One of the showers is outside and the other inside. - The kitchen is fully equipped and has drinking water, oil, vinegar, pepper and salt. - The living area is semi-open, overlooking the mountain ranges of the Andes and has a large table and several hammocks. The house is located in a natural environment. Enjoy the tranquility and breathtaking views of the Andes (Serranía de los Yariguíes). Guest access You have access to all the rooms, the garden and the rest of the property. At the entrance of the property there is a parking space for two cars. The house has several terraces with hammocks. Here you can relax, enjoy the beautiful view or observe the fauna and flora. Other things to note You can hike on an old camino trail from Tovares to Barichara (45min), passing through the Moncora (tropical dry forest) biopark. Guane and Cabrera (charming villages) or the waterfall El Salto de Mico are nearby. The extreme sports town of San Gil is 45 minutes away by car.
