Rabbit Lake Rest Stop

Welcome! Our home is situated on Rabbit Lake, in a quaint neighbourhood located right off the trans Canada highway. An easy, peaceful stop for travellers. Whether traveling to Kenora for work or simply passing through, we understand the stressors a long day brings and would love nothing more than to make this stay enjoyable for you! The space You will be relaxing in a cozy, modernized room with a double bed (mattress comfort: soft). The room is equipped with a keyless lock, personal wifi (exclusive for guests), reading lamp, plant friends, hooks and shelving. You will also have a private bathroom, across the hall. The guest bathroom is a spacious, 4-piece bath. This room and bathroom are exclusively used by Airbnb guests. Guest access Kick your feet up after your travels and relax on our deck overlooking the lake! We hope you don’t mind sharing the view with our pups. This is their favourite place to be. After a long drive, sometimes a dip in the lake is just what you need. Please feel free to use our dock and enjoy Rabbit Lake. During your stay We both work full time 8-5pm or longer, however, are happy to be of assistance in any way we can! Other things to note Please know this booking is not suitable for individuals with physical limitations: There are two flights of stairs leading up to our home. Nonetheless, this does make for an amazing view! Guest Parking is limited to one vehicle only. Apologies, but we cannot accommodate trailers. Please park diagonally in front of the concrete wall. There is a general food store and local restaurant around the corner, a minutes drive or walk along the waterfront. The downtown area is a quick 10min drive away. We have two large-breed dogs who love to greet our guests! They will say their 'hellos' to you upon arrival. Our home accommodates 1 guest and is not advertised as a vacation rental. We take in travellers who are passing through and workers commuting to Kenora. Bookings are accepted based on guest reviews. Thank you for your understanding and safe travels!
