It is unique and part of the Uvita Oasis Retreat, where the pool, part of a 2550 m2 garden, park areas, veranda, and laundry are shared. This brand-new, luxurious chalet/villa is comfortable for two to six guests and is located in the coast-side village of Bahia, only 800 meters from the main entrance of the Marine National Park Ballena and the beautiful wild beaches Playa Uvita and Playa Colonia. Its location right behind the beach forest of the National Park, only 200 meters from the Ocean, provides a daily breeze and the constant magic melody of the sea waves, many bird species, and even monkeys. However, there needs to be a thorough pathway to the beach. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa comprises locally cultivated, environmentally friendly certified pinewood. Several ceiling fans in living rooms and the porch reinforce the sea breeze; a fresh local ceramic floor completes the cozy feeling of natural immersion. All open areas of the house have screens against unwanted animals. The main bedroom with a queen-sized bed, en suite bathroom also with a view, A/C, and garden view are connected to the second private/romantic" porch called Pera, which contains a bar, chaise long, chairs, and an outside bathtub with shower for relaxing/reading/listening to the tropical sounds/having red wine. The second bedroom has a private bathroom with A/C, fans, and two single beds. A living room sofa bed is available for 5th and 6th guests. An air mattress is available if the 5th and 6th persons sleep separately. The fully furnished kitchen for gourmet cooking with a dishwasher, food processors, mixer, microwave, two ovens, grill, and juicer is nicely decorated with European tiles. It forms a unique space with the living room and creates continuity with the external porch 1, thanks to the phantom sliding door. Even locked when not home. There are several security cameras (none inside of the house) in the garden for your own security. Although the neighborhood Bahia/ Uvita is a safe place, precautionary measures would be of additional help. If you wish to shut off the cameras for your privacy you may do so by using the switch on the wall below the TV in the living room. 3.Please leave the key of the sliding door from the master bedroom to the terrace on the door at all times. Do not remove. Please make sure that the main sliding door is securely locked when leaving the house 4.Please use the outside Shower in the back of the house before using the Jacuzzi or the terrace bathtub or the bathroom shower after returning from the beach. The sand is clogging the filters and piping and resulting in big problems. 5.Hot Tub (Jacuzzi) use: Please turn on/off the main switch on the electric pole by the property entrance. Please do not use the Jacuzzi for more than 15 min at a time. There is no timer to turn it off. Please do not leave clothes/bathing suits in the hot tub since they would be sucked by the system. 6.Please do not drink Red Wine stains do not go away and we end up throwing away stained sheets and towels. 7.For the use of the washing machine please ask for the key of the storage room in the back of the house. The dryer is only for the rainy days since clothes dry rapidly hanging. 8.Please do not use the kitchen dishes to feed the animals. 9.There are two different safe deposit boxes in the house one smaller and one bigger for larger items such as laptop and cameras, etc. Please read the instructions. Please leave the safe door in open position when checking-out. If you wish a key (the only one) can be given to you for use. 10.One garden light switch is on one of the poles of the “Rancho” (Veranda). The other garden light switch is at the terrace 1, close to the stairs. Please make sure to turn on the lights after checking that the lights are free of their sun/rain protectors. We hope you will turn off the light when not in use. 11.The use of the stove (gas)- Please make sure the knob (valve) on the gas tank under the kitchen counter is turned on for use. For safety reasons it is recommended to turn it off when not in use (there is a smoke alarm). 12.“Private” corner of the property: The master bedroom’s terrace (second porch called PERA) contains an exterior bath tub with shower for relaxation, enjoyment the peacefulness or the melody of the nature. Please make sure that sand does not get into the bathtub and drainage. 13.Please do not place the BBQ on a wooden surface/table when in use. 14.TV: You only need two remote controls marked TV and Cable to watch TV. There is a library of Blu-ray DVD’s if you wish to watch films. HD Smart TV includes NETFLIX. Please login using your account if you wish to enjoy and please do not forget to logout. 15.Our tropical garden contains various species of ants among many other living things. Every year a tree or other plants die off due to ants. We do not use any fumigation to protect the environment and not to interfere with the balance of the nature. You might encounter ants in the kitchen. This does not mean that it has not been thoroughly cleaned. Please do not leave open food on the counter. To operate safe 1) Press “red” button behind safe door. A “yellow” light will come on indicating you can now reset your new code. 2) Input your new code and press “A or B” the safe will beep if the code has been accepted. However, if the “yellow” light and the buzzer beeps 3 times the code is invalid and you will need to start again. 3) Once your safe has been re-coded close the safe door and turn the knob “anti- clockwise”. 4) To open your safe: input your code followed by the “A or B” button and turn the knob” clockwise”.
