Description
Eco-friendly cabin located in a wooded area of the beautiful municipality of San Joaquín, in the Sierra Gorda Queretana. An excellent place to rest and get away from the noise and worries of the big city. The space We are located next to the archaeological zone of Ranás, the largest and most important in the state of Querétaro, which you can easily reach from the cabin, even walking. We have 4 bedrooms, two on the ground floor, each with a queen size bed, a full bathroom, and the only two available outlets (one is normal and the other is USB type). The upper floor has two other bedrooms, with a double bed and a single bed each respectively and like the ground floor, it has a full bathroom. A slight drawback of the second floor is that the light switch is shared for both rooms, that is, it is turned on and off with a single switch. The bathroom on this second floor has automatic lighting, so it will be on all night, and at dawn it will turn off to start its charging cycle. As an ecological project, we seek to reduce our carbon footprint to the environment, which is why our electricity comes from solar panels, which perfectly feed the entire property, however, for this reason we do not have appliances with high electrical demand, such as a refrigerator, microwave oven, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. But it is more than enough to charge electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. The outdoor lighting is solar and automatic, the area is well lit but also gives you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful night sky in the light of the stars. Our water comes from a spring in the area, so in cases of long stays it can run out, however, we take care of refilling the water tank that feeds the cabin. Guest access The cabin is for the complete disposal of guests, so they will have privacy. There is another cabin in the area, which belongs to a relative, although it is secluded, so it is not considered an inconvenience. The land is family-owned and private, so you can make use of it and walk the marked trails we have for you, from getting to know the forest a little more and collecting firewood, to being able to go to the municipal capital or the archaeological zone. We are located 3 kilometers from the municipal capital, the road is paved, and the last 300 meters are downhill and dirt road, with some sections of concrete tracks. Other things to note We recommend that when you arrive in town, you buy your groceries for your stay and whatever you need, since the town is somewhat remote and there are no stores near the property. The location is provided before your arrival, however, since mobile data is quite slow in the area, you can contact us and we will gladly guide you. There is an extra charge for charcoal and firewood services prepared for your arrival.
