The site also includes all your camping necessities to keep your packing light! The space The Garden Glamping Tent is located in a expansive field near two dogwood trees with planters of herbs and vegetables to enjoy during your stay. The twinkle lights, trellises, and abundant stars add to the magical ambiance. Don’t miss the sunset at this site! Keep your packing to a minimum… we’ve got you covered. Campers also have their own patio lounging set, a shady picnic table, fire pit with grill, lantern, fire extinguisher, a large bottle of drinking water, a lighter, a propane camp stove, water kettle, charcoal, fire starters, campfire forks, a bundle of wood, and morning coffee at their camp site. All the necessities! We even have an air conditioner, fan, and heater inside your tent to help you stay more comfortable, when you’re not enjoying the outdoors. How many camp sites can say that!!! There isn't running water to this tent, but we have a porta-potty and sink that is shared with only one other camping site. The porta-potty is extremely clean and well-lit, and it is serviced weekly, despite its limited use. A camping shower can also be made available upon request. Your site also has a dedicated, hand-washing station and trash can just for your use. The site is located not far from the parking area, but when weather is dry, you can also drive your car right up to your site. The porta-potty is also a close walk to this site. We keep it easy, but you should still be prepared to camp. Never camped before? Check the weather for your stay since part of the experience is being outside in the elements. The tents are weatherproofed, but plan to bring your additional camping equipment for the weather including hiking boots, rain gear, cooler, etc. Not sure what to bring? Feel free to ask! For guests who want to bring friends, ask us about booking both of our camp sites. Special pricing for Sunday-Wednesday Campers Guest access Parking is available for up to two cars and is a short walk from the camp site (a few hundred feet.) When weather is dry, you park right by your campsite in the adjacent field. For guests who would like to visit the wineries, but do not want to drive, Shawnee Shuttle also offers services from the property. Other things to note Our glamping experiences are lovely, but before you book, please be prepared to be in the outdoors. Bugs, inclement weather, walking, and wildlife are all part of the experience, and we know camping is not for everyone. The tents are not like staying in a hotel, and they were designed for people who like to camp and be in the outdoors but who want some of the modern comforts without the headache of packing and setup. We want your stay to be special, but we can’t control nature! ;) WiFi service is available but not strong. However cellular reception is fantastic for both ATT and Verizon with a cell tower located just off the property. There is no smoking inside the tent. An additional five percent has been added to base price of this rental to cover local taxes.
