Dream Cabin in Finca Santa Lucía, Comasagua

We´ve upgraded our popular cabin with a brand new wooden kitchen and also window screens for the entire cabin. This will allow you to sleep with open shutters at night. Finca Santa Lucía's cool climate and spectacular views are only 40 minutes away from the Pacific Ocean beaches of El Tunco, El Sunzal, and El Zonte. Gorgeous cabin located at the top of a hill right in the middle of heaven, completely surrounded by spectacular views in all directions. Enjoy trekking, and silence. The space The cabin was built on top of the same location where the old home of the coffee farm's estate manager was standing, elements of that house have been kept. The cabin is a well built house with all structural safety precautions, a beautiful "Conacaste" wood roof topped with "teja" or Spanish style tiles. The terrace and the interior of the cabin have an 180° degress spectacular view, to the West, the Cordillera del Bálsamo until it reaches the end, then you can see the Santa Ana and Izalco volcanoes; to the North, Honduras; and to the East the Quezaltepeque volcano y the large crater of El Boquerón. You will be able to appreciate the sunrise and the sunset from one location. Antique doors and shutters made of Conacaste wood frame your views from inside the cabin. Two large spacious rooms, one Queen size bed, one single and one sofa-bed, flanked by a large antique armoir. Private bathroom with a shower and hot water, gas and firewood cookstoves, a refrigerator, coffee machine, and everything else you need to be comfortable. Guest access We now have excellent internet connection!! The finca is all for you! You will have access to all of the old coffee farm "casco" (headquarters), its old kitchen where 100s of "cortadores" (coffee pickers) were fed, the old "patios" where coffee beans were dried, and its gardens. All trekking trails are within the property and an expert guide can take you for a very moderate fee. The cabin is 100% private. Please observe the following: -From the paved road to Finca Santa Lucia there is a 200 meters' (650 feet) unpaved road. A high ground car is preferred, but small and low cars make it if they drive slow. -If you don't have a car we can arrange a pick-up, just let us know. -If you are roaming, you will be able to get a signal for voice and data. Day trips If you wish to arrive only for the day, send us a message per AirBnB and we will respond with a special discount. The price per adult only for the day, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm is only USD12.00 p/p (AirBnB commission not included). It does not include food.
