Encantada Vieques is my dream property and when you stay here, you'll understand why. Just west of Esperanza and an easy car or bike ride to anywhere on the island, Encantada features five acres directly bordering the Caribbean Sea. The northern side of the property includes a newly constructed white wall with electronic, gated entry. In the northwestern corner of the property is our tropical cabin: a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath casita with stunning, bright interiors. It has a beautiful outdoor shower and spacious patio living areas designed to maximize your enjoyment of nature and the outdoors. A sleeper sofa in the living room allows the home to sleep six comfortably. The back porch looks directly down towards the sea and reaps wonderful tradewinds. The house has an enormous and quite impressive boulder just outside its walls that is visible from the road. The home is designed to successfully mix modern luxury with a taste of the island paradise you’re visiting in Vieques. We've intentionally left out a TV though there is dependable wireless internet, should you need it. Air conditioning as well as fans are included in the two bedrooms and windows in the living area open on multiple sides of the home for wonderful trade winds. The home is extremely comfortable and convenient while still giving you a sense of the great escape you’re looking for. The design is youthful, classy and bright. The beach that borders the southern side of the property is absolutely breathtaking. During the day it features picture perfect Caribbean blue waters and in the evenings, the most perfect sunsets to the West. At night, stargazing from the property is unrivaled. It should be especially noted that there are very few beachfront properties available on the island and hardly any others on the southern side. You will love Coconut Beach. The home is in an ideal location to explore the island, just outside of the most tourist-friendly part of the island (Esperanza) and centrally located to both the west and east Wildlife reserves. We are next door to the future Zafira Hotel Vieques. As noted in the guest access below, this casita that you'll stay in is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus an outdoor shower. There is another new, larger Villa on the same five acre space that is eco-luxury in design and fitting for larger groups. Guest access Guests can access the entirety of the property with the exception of the other villa on the same five acres. It is an easy walk from the Casita down to Coco Beach, which is absolutely gorgeous and has a private gated entry from the property allowing secure access to the beach. We will require proof of vaccination for all guests of Encantada before arriving on the property. Those not vaccinated must present a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of the beginning of their visit to Encantada - All businesses closed 12:00 am - 5:00 am except for emergencies. - Alcohol sales/consumption will be prohibited during these hours. This includes social activities, such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, among others similar in public and private establishments. - Mask usage will be mandatory in all closed places, as well as open places where there are 50 people or more. - All passengers arriving into Puerto Rico are required to fill out a Travel Declaration Form on the Puerto Rico Health Department’s online portal which produces a QR code to proceed through the airport - Fully vaccinated passengers arriving to Puerto Rico from a domestic flight can upload their COVID-19 Vaccination Card - Non-vaccinated passengers arriving to Puerto Rico from a domestic flight must upload a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of arrival - ALL travelers arriving from international flights regardless of vaccination status must upload a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of arrival
