Welcome to the Shady Grove Chalet by Aspen Lake. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet is a perfect wooded getaway that is as close as you can be to the water without being lakefront. You will not be disappointed! The chalet is located on a beautiful wooded 2.5 acre lot right next to one of the beaches on Aspen Lake. The beds will comfortably sleep 11 – the main level has 2 bedrooms and the upstairs has a loft and a bedroom. Bedroom 1 on the main floor has a queen bed and bedroom 2 on the main floor has a queen bed and a twin trundle (and a beautiful wall of windows!). The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and bunk bed and the loft has a twin bed plus a twin trundle. The full size kitchen is outfitted with everything you need: dishwasher, crockpots, pans, pots, utensils, coffee maker. The dining table seats 6 and an additional seating area by the kitchen seats another 6. The smoker and charcoal grill are ready on the patio. While not technically lakefront, the path down our hill leads you to a marina and beach on the lovely 137 acre Aspen Lake. (see the photos to see the steps down to Aspen Lake). Spend your days at the beach or take the kayaks or stand up paddle board out on the water. Back at the chalet, enjoy the treehouse views from all windows in the chalet and the feeling of being in the tree tops while relaxing on the large deck. For those rainy days and quiet evenings, there are a variety of adult and kid puzzles, games and books. There is wifi and a tv with dvd player and roku stick. Don’t forget to check out all the amenities that Innsbrook Resort has to offer: Charrette Creek Commons is a new pool complex with zero-entry pool and lazy river, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, hiking and nature trails, gym, horseback riding and bird watching (Innsbrook is an Audubon Bird Sanctuary). Innsbrook also offers summer outdoor concerts and holiday events. This is the perfect chalet for the 4th of July – just walk down the hill to the beach to enjoy the fireworks display! During June and July and early August we have 7 night minimum rentals. Other times of the year are 3 day minimum rentals.
