Camp Combs Cottage

Situated in the Village of Wayne Lakes 6 miles south of Greenville, Ohio. CAMP COMBS is a RUSTIC two bedroom cozy summer fish camp built in 1940 with updates. Electic controlled fireplace if there is a chill in the air. Property has fishing dock, canoe, row boat and connects to swimming area on Lake Algonquin. Unfortunately, it is NOT pet friendly. WiFi is best on front inside porch; water heater is small with good pressure. Peace, quiet and comfort for a short break, week or longer stay! The space Two full bed sleeping rooms with clothing storage and hangers in closet. Kitchen has most everything you need for meals. Bathroom has shower and tub unit. There is a private patio outside and an "inside porch" with games, videos, and puzzles. The area was the birthplace of American Aggregates with 18 man-made lakes. Fishing, canoe, rowboat, and next door swimming available. Camp Combs is on Lake Algonquin and all lakes are named after Indian Tribes once in this area. Camp Combs is a summer cottage and is shut down and winterized. Generally availability begins in May and ends mid-October. Guest access You access the entire property as it is a separate, two-bedroom, one bath, kitchen, living and porch structure. A patio has a picnic table, fire-pit, and privacy. Parking is right at the cabin and is sufficient for at least two vehicles. A fishing pass for one to fish all lakes comes with rental.
