Quiet, large (1500 sq.ft) end of Cul-de-Sac 2bdrm, 2ba single level home in a great Walnut Creek location. A few blocks to the Pleasant Hill BART station with 35-min ride to San Francisco, and a 5-min walk to Starbucks, restaurants, supermarkets. 2-mins from 680 freeway. Just blocks away from downtown Walnut Creek. 1-hr away from Napa by car. New carpet and paint. Computer desk and chair in bedrooms. Contactless check-in and out. Wi-fi, Premium Cable and Smart TV in bedrooms and Living Room The space This is a 1500 sq ft one-story home set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no homes behind it. We take impeccable care of the property. Every furnishing and decorative piece has been carefully selected to create an elegant retreat. There is a fully equipped kitchen including a double oven, toaster, electric kettle, French press, and Nespresso machine. The kitchen has a large island covered with a beautiful granite countertop. The kitchen is large with an abundance of natural light through a sunroof and has lots of cabinet and counter space. Dining ware, kitchenware, and cooking ware are all provided. The dining room is also large and airy with seating for six. The living room is spacious with a large leather sectional that has a powered footrest. There are headrests that allow you to lean back and rest your head while relaxing on the sectional, or watching TV after a long day. There is a beautiful brick wall between the living room and the kitchen. Adjacent to the living room is another living space with a beautiful credenza and a sofa that pulls out into a queen-sized sofa-bed. The bedrooms are in the back of the unit and the windows look out to greenery from mature trees and a view of a tennis court and swimming pool that serves a neighbor community. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and hallway closet, ensuite bathroom with a dual sink vanity and a walk in shower. The hallway bathroom has a dual sink vanity and bathtub with overhead shower. A dedicated workspace is provided in both bedrooms should you need to get some work done or if working from home. There is an in-unit laundry room with a full-size washer-dryer. Laundry detergent is also provided. An iron, ironing board, and hairdryer are also provided, as are cleaning supplies to keep the unit clean during longer-term stays. There is a thermostat-controlled AC/heater unit across the house, a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, a tabletop fan in the 2nd bedroom and two standing fans in the living room as Walnut Creek can get quite hot during the summer. Secure high-speed internet access and premium cable TV (Xfinity) provided across the entire house. You can expect to have full privacy as we have designed the space for your quiet and peaceful enjoyment. Guest access Keyless Entry – We will provide you with a personalized 4-digit code to unlock and lock the house a few days before you are scheduled to arrive. Once you pull up to the driveway and park. Walk towards the enclosed garbage area to find the door to the unit. Parking – The house is one half of a duplex and shares a wall and driveway with another home. You have a dedicated parking space for one car on the driveway in front of the garage closer to the unit. Trucks and other oversized vehicles must be parked on the street. Do not park in front of the garage further from the unit as that space belongs to the other duplex. Street parking can be limited and parking rules are strictly observed. Do not park and block the curb in any way, shape or form, or the neighbors will call the police and you may receive a ticket. Other things to note We provide an initial welcome packet including teabags and coffee, 10-pack paper kitchen towels, and 24-pack double-ply toilet paper. Once you have exhausted this initial supply, you are responsible to restock for the remainder of your stay. Housekeeping – We provide the following for the minimum 30-day stay: • 5 sets of bath towels, hand towels and face towels • 2 sets of bedsheets and 4-pillowcases • One coverlet (for the summer) and one comforter (winter) for each bedroom If you need more sheets, towels etc, you may take advantage of the in-unit washer/dryer. Please do not use wood in the fireplace as we are unable to track which days are “Spare The Air” days and we cannot guarantee that the chimney is functional as we have never used it. No car-washing on the driveway, soap scum runs into storm drains which is not allowed in the county
