Welcome To The Seaward Turtle located in beautiful NSB on the quiet no drive portion of the beach. ***We have a 7 month restoration project to begin in Sept. It should be completed by early spring 2025. There is NO cleaning fee. In exchange we ask you to do dishes, take the garbage out & leave the place tidy. *Consider travel insurance as we do stick to our cancellation policy. For your peace of mind, our cancellation policy is changed to Moderate during the restoration time period. Guests get a full refund if they cancel up to 5 days before check-in.** We provide an extraordinary level of cleanliness, surfaces are sanitized for your arrival. For your peace of mind, all bedding - including bedspreads, mattress pads and pillow protectors - as well as towels and bathroom rugs are washed and sanitized between stays. Our kitchen is stocked with an array of gadgets, pots & pans, dishes, silverware, 4 slice toaster, instant pot, blender, hand mixer, electric popcorn popper, burr coffee grinder, Keurig, 12 c coffee maker, 12 c percolator, pour over & a French Press. We also provide a complimentary bag of coffee beans from Island Roasters Coffee company, locally roasted right here in New Smyrna Beach! Our condo is stocked with starter amounts of laundry and dish detergent, shampoo, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, sponge, plastic wrap, aluminum foil and basic spices - should be plenty for your week's stay. The unit has a hair dryer in each bathroom so you don't have to pack one. ****Please note that our condo association does NOT allow guests to have pets**** Sea turtle nesting season is May 1st through October 31st and we love our turtles here in NSB! Help us support the turtles by closing the plantation shutters on the sliding glass door in the evening, filling in holes and knocking down sand castles on the beach and generally just keeping our area of the beach picked up. This helps to clear a path for the turtles to nest and the hatchlings to make it back to the water. On premises parking for 2 vehicles only. See Kim in the office for a parking pass. Office hours are 10:30 - 1:00. Closed Thursdays and Sundays. If you arrive when office is closed, check in at the first opportunity and leave a piece of paper on your dashboard with "A103" on it. Owners are local and available through messenger if you need anything. The condo is located in the beautiful Seaward Condominium complex which is close to Cape Canaveral National Seashore & Turtlemound National Historic Site. Short drive to Flagler Avenue and Canal Street where you will find many choices for restaurants and shopping. For our more adventurous guests, there is a clothing optional section of Apollo beach located at the Cape Canaveral National Seashore, just short drive from the condo. Closest airport is Daytona Beach, which is about a 1/2 hr away. You may wish to consider Allegiant Air which flies into Sanford and is about an hour away or Orlando International Airport, approximately 1 1/4 hr away. ***Restoration projects to begin in Sept. They key to the bike lock is located on the key rack in the kitchen. The bikes are covered and locked. After use - please return, cover and lock. There is a locked storage area on the 1st floor in the laundry area (key located inside the condo) that contains 2 bike helmets, tire pump etc. for guests use. Also available for guests use - 4 beach chairs, 8' umbrella and 4 yoga mats. Please return items back to the main bedroom closet before departing. The condo association has security cameras set up in various locations on the property. However, there are NO security cameras or recording devices in the unit. Per condo association rules, pets are NOT allowed. Also, do not leave personal belongings or bikes in walkways or stairways. NO smoking, parties, pets or children younger than 5 are allowed.
