The space LONG TERM RESIDENTS - We will offer a discounted price from the daily rate for long term rentals. Long term residents are responsible for electric bills which can range from $30 - $100++ USD, higher costs based on excess usage of lights, air conditioner etc. (Ceiling fans are installed in all rooms for comfort. AC is extra charge for all reservations to control high surcharge fees). Security Deposit to cover for damages, unpaid bills, reasonable electricity charges will be required from long term residents before move-in and/or added to the reservation fee. From San Jose - Take Route 27 towards (Punterenas/Caldera) and Turn to Highway 34 (Costanera/Pacifica Fernandez) to Jaco. From Juan Santamaria Airport - Taking Route 1 to Route 27 loop to Highway 34 (Costanera/Pacifica Fernandez) to Jaco. Arriving to Jaco - We are located NEXT to "Blue Palms Hotel". If going SOUTH on Highway 34 (Costanera/ Pacifica Fernandez) take a right on CALLE LAPA VERDE. (You will see signs directing to Blue Palms Hotel / lguana near the street. El Encanto is about 100 meters from the turn passing Adventure Lodge on left and Ciclo Bicycle shop on the right) If you are coming from PASTOR DIAZ AVENUE (main street on Jaco strip) turn at the street next to POPS ICE CREAM and VINDI . The street name to our Condo is called CALLE LAPA VERDE. You will pass El Largo hardware store, PALI Super market, Fruteria, SODA Garabito and Oceano Condos on the right hand side. To the left you will pass Lavandaria Jaco (Laundry Mat), PCG Business Center and Premier Dental Care Clinic. El Encanto Condominiums is next door to Blue Palms Hotel and Adventure Lodge. The banks exchange money at current exchange rates. The BCR, Banco Nacional, Banco Popular, Bank San Jose are few banks that exchange currency in Jaco. Please take your passport. TOURS - There are various tour operators offering adventures, ATV, ziplining, fishing, kayaking, volcanoes, national parks and other excursions. TRANSPORTATION - Jaco is approx 1.5 Hours away from the Juan Santamaria International Airport. When arriving you may chose to take a Taxi which will run you ($80 -120), Shuttle which can cost you ($35-50) or Public Transportation ($5-10). By Car - (From San Jose) Take Highway 27 towards Punterenas/Caldera and turn to Highway 34 (Costanera/Pacifica Fernandez) to Jaco. (From Juan Santamaria Airport) Take Route 1 to Highway 27 loop to Highway 34 (Costanera/Pacifica Fernandez) to Jaco. Shuttle - I have used "Grayline" which charge around $35.00 and they are great. You can also find other companies online such as the "Interbus". There is a pick up spot at "Holiday Inn Express" which is very close to the international airport. Public Transportation - (Jaco to Airport) The public bus leaves every two hours from Jaco, costs approx. $5 which takes you directly to the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Please check the time table and purchase the tickets early at the main bus terminal in front of the Best Western Hotel in Jaco. (San Jose to Jaco) You can take a bus at the Bus Station located at Avenida 7 / Calle 10 (Bus Terminal 7-10) in San Jose downtown to come to Jaco. Purchase the tickets at the Jaco ticket window on the second floor at the Bus Terminal. (Airport to San Jose Downtown) The "Alajuela - San Jose" bus in the direction of San Jose goes directly from the bus stop near the Airport exit to downtown San Jose. The Bus Terminal 7-10 (Avenida 7/ Calle 10) to Jaco is a few blocks down the road from the final bus stop (Alajuela - San Jose) in downtown San Jose. You can Walk or take a Taxi to the Jaco Bus Terminal.
