Palm Beach is a bay with numerous surf spots within a short 2 - 3 minute walk from the casita Long beautiful white sandy beaches perfect for long walks or running at low tide. We have the most amazing sunsets so take a cocktail down to the beach and watch the sun setting (or coffee to watch sunrise) A short beach walk to the water taxi to take you over to Tamarindo (only available during the day) Parking for guests is available on the street just outside the gate entrance. We are close by for any emergencies. Situated in the quiet semi gated community of Palm Beach Estates Playa Grande we are steps away from a perfect white sand long pristine uncrowded beach. There are 4 restaurants and a small mini supermarket within a few minutes walk of Casita Pelicano. You can catch a water taxi to the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo during the day to go shopping and exploring and come home to relax in the tranquility of your own private space. Listen for the howler monkeys especially in the early hours of the morning (follow the sounds to locate them) Watch the squirrels argue over the Guava and coconut meals. The monkeys love to siesta in the large trees at the back of the yard. There is an inexpensive estuary tour available a few minutes walk away to show you the magnificent eco life right under your nose. Our local Hotel and Restaurants numerous times during the week if you would like a bit of nightlife or head to Tamarindo for a night out and catch a taxi or Uber home. Surf lessons trips and tours can be arranged. Casita Pelicano is located about an hour away from Liberia airport depending on traffic and road conditions and are just steps away from one of the most beautiful long white stretches of beach. Truly an amazing long beach for low tide walks or runs to Tamarindo Estuary or Playa Carbon and beyond. Spot the baby turtles heading to the ocean (be alert for the tracks of a hatching nest) You can walk on the beach to Tamarindo and catch the water taxi over the Estuary for a few $ each way or catch the water taxi via Hotel Grateful (the scenic route - spot the crocodiles) Tamarindo. A car is nice to have to explore different areas. Bicycles are an alternative. Sunset on the beach is a MUST to watch the most spectacular sunsets with a sundowner in your hand seated on your deck chair. On street Parking available.
