Scudder's Up North

Our family home is across the street from Lake Huron and public beaches. It is also walking distance from the beautiful and historic downtown Alpena. We are putting a lot of time and love in to making this a fun and comfortable vacation home. The space Unlike most vacation rentals in the Alpena area, our home is less than a mile from the historic downtown area. We are across the street from Thomson Beach, which has public swimming and picnic areas. A short walk or bike ride brings you to Bay View Park and the Municipal Small Boat Harbor. There is so much to do in Alpena, from shopping and dining to off-the-beaten-path activities. Guest access We are happy to open our home to those who are responsible and respectful. Our guests have access to our kitchen which is stocked with common kitchen goods (please replace anything you use the last of). We have a washer and dryer for your convenience. Three guest rooms sleep up to 5 people, and in the warmer months there is a pull-out couch in our upstairs den. We also have a deck and large partially fenced backyard.
