The Red Room with Breakfast

1 of 2 private guest bedrooms available in lovely craftsman home with Queen size bed. Vintage Guesthouse experience where you share living space ( your bedroom is private) with your host & other guests in a warm, inviting place to relax & refresh. Continental breakfast is provided. Requirements: All guests must have a fully verified AirBnb profile & be linked to reservation. 2 adult guest maximum. Free street parking available. House is NOT smoke friendly. The space The Red Room is 1 of 2 guest bedrooms available in my lovely, updated 100+ year old craftsman home. ( Built in 1912) This is a home sharing/ guest house situation where your warm and welcoming (and a native San Diegan) Host lives onsite. She has great recommendations for restaurants, places to see and does her best to ensure a pleasant stay. Ask about discounts upon check in. The Red Room is of medium size, features a queen size bed, small writing desk/ vanity, reading nook, tv ( Apple TV ) and lots of natural light. Books and bookshelf are for your use. Take 1 or leave 1 as you see fit. Small closet with rod, hangers, a few shelves for you to unpack and make yourself at home and a full length mirror on the door, (but please note there is no dresser. ) Because this room is south facing it is exposed to warm sunlight for most daylight hours, which means it can get warm. An extra fan, plus the ceiling fan is provided for you to assist the central air during warm seasons. This room shares the guest bath with the other available guest room. Guest bathroom is updated, bright with large lovely shower, filled with colored coded cozy towels, shampoo, & body wash for your convenience. The breakfast bar in the dining room provides yummy items for a Continental breakfast. Guests do not have any access to the kitchen whatsoever. Rooms are sanitized between guests with Covid -19 protocol approved cleaning products. Please advise host prior to check in of any laundry sensitivities to ensure a comfortable stay. ALL guests must have fully verified Airbnb profiles & be linked to reservation. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. Check is time is 3-4PM. With a little advanced notice, check in time can be flexible. A early/late check in fee may be applied in certain circumstances. Please ask for details. No pets, please! Guests traveling with Service/ESA animals should be aware I have received and exemption from Airbnb and will not be able to accommodate you. Guests who are allergic, or afraid of dogs will not be comfortable in my home. Home is for adults only. House is NOT 420 friendly (edibles are fine, see house rules) and outdoor/street shoes are to be removed before entering the home. FIRM 2 guest maximum. Breakfast Bar open from 6:30-10:30am. Simple, yummy breakfast items are also provided for you. Yogurt, bread, juice, coffee and fresh fruit are some of the regular choices. Feel free to enjoy coffee creamers in the mini fridge. Fancy up your morning coffee by using the milk frother. If you have other dietary restrictions or preferences, the market right across the street can provide you with lots of other options. A mini fridge (space is VERY limited), toaster and small microwave are also available for guest use during breakfast hours. Please clean up after yourself. Guests do not have any access to the kitchen. Living and dining areas are shared as well, grab a book or watch cable TV and relax in a recliner in the living room. Grab a bite to eat or work on the open puzzle in the dining room ( available during winter months). Plenty of free, unrestricted street parking all around the house. During your stay Host is available most of the time. I live in the home or I'm just an Airbnb message away. If you are interested in a walking/hiking partner, or need a partner for some adventures in eating ( I know some great hole in the wall places with great food!) I'm your girl.
