This sunny upstairs condo has beautiful views of Kachemak Bay. You can see Grewink glacier from the kitchen sink and watch the sunrise over the mountains from the master bedroom. The flat is located in the heart of Old Town Homer - steps from shops, restaurants, spa, coffee shops and art galleries. It is a block from Bishop’s Beach which offers miles of beachcombing. At the end of the street you can access the Islands and Ocean Visitor center via the Beluga Slough Trail. The unit has heated hardwood floors throughout (no shoes!). Guests can enjoy locally-roasted organic K-Bay coffee in the fully-equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with premium linens and an attached ½ bath. The twin room has brand new, very comfortable Sealy Posturepedic Eurotop mattresses. There is a Roku-enabled wall-mounted TV in the living room. The master bedroom has a Roku TV that also has a DVD player connected. There is a drawer of classic DVDs to enjoy and lots of good books. We use all-natural, unscented cleaners whenever possible. The building, on the corner of Main St. and Bunnell, is a quiet mix of daytime commercial use and upstairs residential units. • Pack-n-play collapsible crib • Extra fold-up twin foam pad • High chair/booster seat (space saver-type seat that can be attached to a regular dining chair) • Brand new full-size washer & dryer • Hair dryer • Drawer of DVDs • Extensive reading library • Games and toys • Picnic basket, soft-sided cooler & picnic blanket The owner/host lives in Anchorage, but our local manager is available if you have any needs during your stay. The flat is located in the heart of Old Town Homer - steps from shops, restaurants, a spa, coffee shops and art galleries. It is a block from Bishop’s Beach which offers miles of beachcombing, sunsets, rock collecting, tidepooling (especially at low and minus tides), bird watching and more. At the end of the street you can access The Islands and Ocean Visitor Center via the Beluga Slough Trail. It is the perfect location for exploring Homer on foot. The Bunnell Street Gallery and attached Wild Honey creperie are across the street. Two Sisters Bakery is a 2 minute walk down the street. Fat Olives Restaurant is about a 5 minute walk in the other direction. The SeaGlo Spa is downstairs in the same building. The two upstairs residential units can be accessed by a shared entry in the back of the building. Parking for personal vehicle only, no RV, trailer or boat parking available.
