Zen Chic Mountain Casita with a view

This zen chic space is an open plan style house by famous Mexican architect Jorge Mercado. The casita is 2 stories. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms divided by bamboo walls and a meditation area and downstairs is a large terrace, integrated kitchen and living area with astounding views of mountains located in the countryside. HIGH SEASON MINIMUM 5 NIGHTS (Christmas, New Years, Spring Break/Semana Santa). Puentes minimum 3 nights. The space Our home is located in the mountains in the town Santo Domingo, Ocotitlan about 12-15 minutes away from the center of Tepoztlan. If you do not want to stay in the town and get away from the hustle and bustle then this is a nice retreat. Guest access The house is in a private gated communal area of land shared with another 5 homes and cared for by caretaker Osvaldo. Our garden is a peaceful tranquil piece of paradise. You have access to the whole home and our garden. The communal areas and the communal pool are NOT accessible to any air bnb or vrbo renters, only home owners. Take Note: the garden is green in rainy seasons June-October. Our neighbor does have dogs who may bark. Please understand this is beyond our control. Other things to note During high season weeks; 5 nights minimum rent (Semana Santa, Christmas break and New Years) and long weekends (Puentes) minimum 3 nights. Please note that this is a private communal area so parties and get togethers are not allowed in the house. Only a maximum of 4 guests may come to the home. We have 2 spaces for parking cars in our home. This is a place to come and relax in nature and re-energize yourself and balance your energy. No drugs whatsoever are allowed on the premises. Smoking is allowed only on the terrace outside or garden and must be thrown away in ashtrays, not on the ground. The villagers from the town 'pueblo' of Santo Domingo sometimes have their own fiestas (parties) on Friday or Saturday nights and sometimes can be heard from the house. Please be aware of this if noise bothers you as this is out of our hands and control. No pets allowed. Our neighbor does have dogs and any dog barking is not controlled by us of course.
