Cozy cottage home, dog friendly & just 10 minutes from the shops, restaurants & docks in Westport. Private trail across street is a 5 min. walk to the beach. Large private backyard with firepit, horseshoes & chairs. Fishing, crabbing, clamming, surfing & beach combing await you. Enjoy a break with an evening fire or Netflix movie. Log wood/open beams interior. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults/3 children or 4 adults. Propane grill, crab pots, clam guns, board games, patio set & kids sand toys onsite. Beautiful open beam ceilings and solid wood walls make this cottage a cozy, warm retreat when you are ready to come back inside from a great day outdoors at the ocean. Large grass field in backyard surrounded by trees gives it a secluded and private feel. Directly across the quiet street is a wooded area with a private beautiful path that's a 5 minute walk to beach. During the rainy season (approximately Oct-Mid April) an alternative trail remains dry-it's further south on the road and just adds another 5 minutes to the walk. We supply 2 Duraflame logs for the wood stove for your enjoyment. Queen bed in master, extra long twin bed in 2nd room along with submarine bunk (3 beds) for kids. Pull out full bed in living room. All appliances are updated including the dishwasher. No AC but there's are two fans and the windows have screens. Fire pit, propane BBQ, chairs, horseshoes, board games, Wi-fi and smart tv, outdoor table with chairs, 2 crab pots, 2 clam guns, skim board and more all onsite that we share. Keypad on door. We recently added a park home that we are remodeling for future family and Airbnb guests but you will have the entire property to yourself with access to the cabin and yard and trails. Additional $20 charge per person/per night for more than 5 guests. I have a local co-host available for emergencies. Quiet neighborhood centrally located across the street from the ocean (sorry no view). Car access to beach within 5 minutes both north and south of property if you'd prefer to drive to the ocean. About 10 minute drive to the docks and shops/restaurants of Westport. -- Shampoo, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, and multi purpose spray are provided. The area is sparsely populated so you can get away from the crowds and breathe fresh ocean air during your stay. Our family cottage is an easy walk to enjoy the quiet beaches.
