Available for rent is a recently updated cottage with beautiful views of the Antigonish Harbour. While the property boasts charm, it also has been modernized with a new kitchen (fully stocked), flooring, and amenities such as Endy mattresses and soft linens. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, but you can also be in town or to St. FX University in 5 minutes. This is a great home base for the whole family. Pack up the car and head to many beaches (Pomquet and MacDonald) less than 20 mins away. The space Main Floor: Porch, Kitchen, Living Room (w/Smart TV), Bedroom (twin), Bedroom, (queen), 2 bathrooms, laundry Upstairs: Bedroom (queen), Bedroom (two twins) Guest access Guests will have use of the entire cottage. Other things to note Heating/Cooling - The main floor keeps cool and we have a window air conditioning unit in one upstairs bedroom. For cooler temps, we have a smaller electric fireplace in the living room that can be used. General Area - The house is situated at the end of a scenic road, Williams Point road, overlooking the Antigonish harbour. It's common for locals and visitors to drive along the point road and turn around at the roundabout which is located beside the house. There is also an active train track along Williams Point. A short train runs twice a day and more often than not, we do not even notice the sound. Harbour Access - The house has a beautiful view of the harbour, but at this point in time, there is no walking access to the harbour. Parking - the parking pad can accommodate two small cars. If needed, you can park alongside the house as well. Pets - While we welcome pets, please note that we do not have a fenced yard.
