Welcome to our family run, off the grid, secluded hideout located within the Peak District. Our luxury bell tent is nestled within a private woodland and sleeps up to 6 people on a double bed, one double sofa bed and two single beds, all bedding is provided. Our secret hamlet also has all of your home comforts Log burning stove, Outdoor covered kitchen area with cutlery, crockery, gas stove cool box,bbq/firepit & seating. We are the perfect place for any family or group woodland break. Looking to really get away from it all? Your outdoor adventure starts here, whether that would be a stroll in The Peaks, cycling, family fun day out, or simply relaxing within our woodland with a barbeque and toasting marshmallows. Head out in the Peaks and visit Chatsworth House, the beautiful town of Bakewell or Longshaw Estate. We have so many wonderful places right on our doorstep. After a long day of exploring you can relax in our wood fired hot tub or have a cosy night in around the log burning stove. Incredible eateries are a stone throw away too, some within walking distance. Our home reared meats are also available to pre order as breakfast and BBQ packs. Please order prior to your stay. On site we have a little honesty shop. Items stocked within the shop are - cereal, milk, bread, bbq coals, disposable bbq, logs, fire starting kits, bacon, eggs, sausages, burgers, honey. Payments allowed are card & cash. Our secret hamlet is great for families wanting to make special memories and we also cater for groups, catching up with friends, girlie breaks away and even hen parties! We love celebrating and we can help you plan with some lovely extras to surprise that special someone. We have a very special 4 acre woodland, which is home to just one large luxury bell tent you will not have to share our space with anyone, (apart from the wildlife) just your friends and family. A great place to relax and re connect with nature while enjoying quality time with family and friends. Please note access down to the woodland is uneven ground with an incline and is roughly a 5 minute walk from the car. Our off the grid setting is completely remote with no WIFI or electricity. Small led lights are provided - NO ELECTRICITY TOWELS, LOGS, BBQ COALS, LOGS FOR FIRE PIT ARE NOT PROVIDED, BUT CAN BE PURCHASED AS AN EXTRA PRE ARRIVAL OR ON ARRIVAL. PLEASE NOTE - THE WOOD FIRED HOT TUB CAN TAKE UP TO TWO HOURS TO HEAT. WE OFFER HEATING BEFORE ARRIVAL AT AN EXTRA COST OF £40. PLEASE GIVE 24 HOURS NOTICE. Guest access There are up to 3 free car parking spaces available. There is a 5 minute walk to the site which cars can not get to this is all on foot. The walk is on uneven ground and has a steep decent down to the woodland. Rucksacks are recommended. Appropriate clothing and footwear is also highly recommended. We are on hand to help with luggage. We can transport it to the woodland for you, Other things to note The woodland is located in an area that is unfortunately not suitable for disabled access and has a steep decent. A trolley is provided for luggage, but rucks are strongly recommended. We are completely off grid and have no electricity.
