Walking distance to the only mall in Key Largo that has a Kmart, a Publix Supermarket, Urgent care and other shops. Very close to the community pool, bathrooms. It accommodates 6 guests in beds. We are close to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, a place to snorkel and beach access. Key Largo is the first key from the mainland and 2 hrs from Key West. All bedrooms have a 32" flat screen TV. It has basic cable and internet. The living room has a 55" smart 4K TV. There is a stairs to reach this property as it is on the second level. It also has a stairway that gives you access to your own private sun deck in a flat roof fenced area where you can enjoy a relaxed afternoon or a quiet night looking at the beautiful sunset. The main floor has a BBQ, table and chairs, There is a space to park your car. KEY LARGO ATTRACTIONS The upper keys are better known as Key Largo. The perfect place for snorkeling, scuba diving, and Deep Sea fishing. Key Largo is situated in the triangle of the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico. This offers incredible year round fishing trips. The beautiful blue waters of the Florida Keys you will find snapper and grouper that are great on the grill. Charters run to the reef area and farther depending on the season. The 40 minutes tranquil ride is filled with sightseeing sperm whales and dolphins. World-Class Attractions The third largest reef in the world is located in Key Largo. The following three protected facilities keep vacation itineraries busy. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park This is a state-of-the-art marine biological wonderland that is open to the public. Glass bottom boats tour the diversity offered by this habitat. Molasses Reef starts the corridor of the third largest coral reef in the world. Scuba diving trips can be experienced alone or with guides. The Grecian Rocks are part of the only underwater park in the United States. A swim 100 feet from shore ends at a Spanish shipwreck and the infamous Christ of the Deep statue. For deeper dives, the USS Speigel or USCG Duane provide more wreck explorations. Everglades National Park An American original is the Everglades with species that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Examples include the American crocodile, manatee, and flamingo birds in a wetland listed as a World Heritage Site. This attraction was also designated an International Biosphere Reserve, because it is the largest tropical home to a wilderness population. Experience its splendor on an air boat tour as you witness the ecosystem up close and personal. Guest access There is a basketball court and a tennis court within the community property that is accessible to guests. Also, there is a small kiddie park and public laundromat and bathrooms by the pool and recreation hall. Most guests use bikes or golf carts to get around within community property. Other things to note It is Always Warm in Key Largo Temperatures have a range of mild 60s during the winter evenings to comfortable 80s in the summer months. There is not much rain to contend with due to the Gulf Stream winds and location to the equator. This tropical paradise requires your best summer wear for maximum enjoyment.
