It sits right on the beach front, and has a large porch with hammock and stunning view. A fenced in yard provides privacy. There is no better place to stay in Mompiche. It is located next to Madre Selva, considered one of the best if not the best restaurant in Mompiche. Guest access Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a large yard and hammock hut. If you desire we can arrange for a walking jungle tour guided by Ramon who has a thorough knowledge of the area. Horse back rides and surf board rentals (discount for guests) are also available as is wifi connection. During your stay We, the hosts reside within the compound. We have a thorough knowledge of the area. Our goal is to make your visit pleasant and enriching. We speak fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese and get along in French. We can provide advice on surfing spots, make arrangements for boat tours, horse back rides and guided jungle tours. Other things to note The owners of Casa Banana, the complex of which this room makes part, are committed to nature conservation. To this effect we have invested in the voluntary creation of a 21 acre reserve that is home to howler monkeys, toucans and countless species of birds and plants. We mix farming with biodiversity. The Choco, the biogeographic region, is one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. We also partner with Don Ramon who manages a conservation area that covers over 200 acres. Don Ramon is a well-known nature guide. At Casa Banana we maintain a number of surf boards that we rent to our guests at a discount.
