This is the real St Lucia ! The Apartment has a jewel of a setting overlooking Soufriere Bay and the majestic Petit Piton. The space includes a Lounge, Kitchenette, Double Bedroom and Covered Patio Area. The local Shops and Beach are within an easy 10 minute walk. Soufriere is located on the south west coast of Saint Lucia, 50 minutes drive from Vieux Fort and 1 hour from Castries in the north. Soufriere has a laid back feel with little traffic. It is a great location for many of the island's most popular attractions which are - the Pitons, Sulphur Springs & Drive through Volcano, Diamond Falls & Botanical Gardens, marine park, several waterfalls and of course the rain forest. THE APARTMENT The apartment is no more than a 10 minute walk to the center of town. The accommodations include a Bedroom with Double Bed, Bathroom with Shower and a spacious living room area and kitchenette. Bedding, Towels, Beach Towels etc are all provided. Wi-Fi internet access free of charge. GETTING THERE Public buses are available from both Castries and Vieux Fort to the center of Soufriere. However these buses do not run on public holidays or Sundays. I can also arrange a private taxi pickup for you. There are several rental car company's in Soufriere that you can use if you wish to hire a jeep for a day or a week just to see some more sites. Although you can see on the map where the apartment is, we are as the crow fly’s, 500 meters to the center of town and 250 meters to the closest beach. Soufriere has various local Bars and Restaurants as well as internationally renowned hotels just a short drive from the town. There are three small supermarkets, various clothes shops, banks which are open until 2pm, (24hr Atm's), hardware shops etc. I am a professional photographer and have been in St Lucia for over twenty five years. I regularly take, or just inform, my guests about the sights of St Lucia whilst avoiding the large crowds. If you wish I am happy to take you on a “photographic tour” of the island. Soufriere is a small town on the west coast of the island. It often has a lively Caribbean atmosphere over the weekends and public holidays. The people are friendly, the views are amazing and the sun is always hot. Public transport runs from Monday - Saturday. Airport transfer is generally by Taxi.
