Dawn Apartment is located in a quiet and reserved area of the village of West End, at a few steps from downtown, where you can find restaurants, bars, dive shops, pharmacies, and basic services. Villa Grazia (where the apartment is located), is a private property surrounded by a lush garden, perched on the iron shore and facing the beautiful Mangrove Bight. During your stay you will have access to all the facilities of the property including the dock, a little salt water pool and BBQ area. What characterizes the space is the absolutely unique location: positioned in one of the tips of Mangrove Bight, it receives a pleasant sea breeze all day. The palapa of 3 different levels overlooking the sea, allows you to enjoy wonderful sunsets or gives you the perfect privacy and atmosphere for your relaxing time . The Ceilings in the unit have 2 low beams, so if you’re 6 feet tall you have to be careful when you walk. The guests of Dawn Apartment will be able to access to the property facilities: Dock/Palapa with beach chairs and hammock, BBQ area, little salt water pool, access to the water inside the bay. I live in the property, so I am pretty much available 24/7. I have being living in Roatan since 2005. I will be happy to help the guests to move around the island, find activities to do, best places to see and visit and give them that "local touch" and let them feel definitely part of the community. The neighborhood is part of the West End Village, a vibrant community of expats and locals where the majority of the tourist like to hang around during the day and the night. despite being part of the West End, however the area where the apartment is located is quiet and peaceful, away from the noise of bars, car traffic and a few steps from Half Moon Bay Beach. The guests are at 10 minutes walking from the entrance of the village, where they can get taxis to the Airport, ferry, grocery stores, West Bay Beach (reachable also with Water Taxis from the "Taxi Boat peer" downtown. Restaurants, bars, convenient stores, souvenirs and dive shops are at your fingertips. NOTE: For reservations more than 3 nights, the electricity is not going to be included in the rent. There is a $0.40KwH charge during your stay. Electric meter will be check upon your arrival and at the departure. At the end of the stay, the total amount will be paid in cash or transfer. The bill will depend according on how much AC you use. We try to educate the guests to a responsible use of the electric supplies, considering the high cost of the electricity on the island. A moderate usage of AC typically get the bill to $5-$10 approximately per day. Roatan it is a Plastic Free Island, help us to keep the island clean and our reef healthy. Try to use plastic as less as possible and try to recycle. Separate the plastic from the Glass and Aluminum and you can use the opposite recycle bins in west end to dispose them or leave a bag when you check out so we can give the stuff to the local men that collect recyclable material and take it to the designed disposable places in change of money.
