Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property. The space Very close to windy 8 and has a car port for guests -biker friendly! You can walk around owners 25 acres, sit/paint/eat outside. Guests may also hike, and use fire pit one is located by the Airbnb and there is another at the pond across the street. Guest access Across the street owners own Poston Lake and guests may hike there, we ask that you let us know you will or might use the space so we can let other family members know and welcome your presence. Other things to note Please no pets. Extra bedding and blankets in the closet are for guests to use if you’d like. Drawers in kitchen are labeled and contain everything you need to cook and clean. Extra towels and some extra sheets are located in the drawers of the queen sized bed. We provide Keurig coffee pods for the Keurig coffee maker. We do not provide food. We provide salt/pepper and sugar. We do not provide WiFi. Most people have good cell service at our location. *Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet and throw everything else in the trash. Wipes, tampons and other items flushed will clog the toilet. For guests staying a couple days- - let us know if you need the trash taken out, we are happy to do this! -if you need additional towels or towels swapped out we can do this too. - If you need local information, or have any questions please do ask.
