Sitio da Montanha is in a privileged region in an Environmental Protection Area. Our space is in the middle of the forest, at the bottom of the valley at an altitude of 1050 meters, bordering the Itatiaia National Park and Pedra Selada State Park. It is a quiet and pleasant place amidst a rich fauna and flora, facing the Pirapitinga River, which passes through the property with its clear and crystalline waters, with beautiful trails inside the forest that lead to the river and waterfalls of unique beauty. The space Our wild refuge is for those seeking immersion in nature that is still wild but with all the comforts of a mountain house, and who want to renew their energies in the silence of the forest, watching birds, bathing in a preserved river, waking up to the sound of the forest, and enjoying a microclimate with mild temperatures. There are 80,000 m² with a lot of garden in the middle of the Atlantic forest, where nature is the main protagonist. The beautiful Gruta and Libélulas waterfalls are close to the Chalet. Serrinha is home to a huge diversity of wild animals and birds, and is a paradise for birdwatching. Guest access The Chalé das Águas is spacious and has a bedroom with a queen-size bed with an external balcony space with a hammock. It has a second bedroom with a bunk bed + an extra single bed and a large bathroom. Full American kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, toaster, sandwich maker, etc. Living room with fireplace, sofa and dining table, large covered balcony with table and benches. This chalet is in front of the crystal clear mountain water pools, Finnish wood-fired sauna and private barbecue area. This chalet has cable TV, including European channels. The Finnish wood-fired sauna is close to the Water Chalet, with natural showers coming directly from the Pirapitinga River and Pools with crystal clear waters, coming from the same river. Other things to note On New Year's Eve and Carnival holidays, the minimum stay is 4 nights.
