Cape Cod Cottage on Whidbey Island
Looking for a relaxing getaway? Cape Cod is a cozy 1940s seaside cottage on Whidbey Island surrounded by Deer Lagoon and Useless Bay. A natural bird sanctuary, the area is home to hundreds of geese, ducks, gulls, sandpipers and families of bald eagles and herons. Nature will fill your quiet moments. Langley is a 15-minute drive away for restaurants, shops, and tourist activities. This is a 1940s seaside cottage located on Deer Lagoon & Useless Bay on beautiful Whidbey Island. Our cottage provides an amazing beach experience for up to four guests. There is a master suite with a queen bedroom and bath' there are two additional bedrooms with single beds. Bathroom access for the two rooms with twin beds is through a sliding barn door into the master bedroom. The two rooms with twin beds do not have doors. In addition to the amenities, please enjoy the covered front porch and back porch (with gas grill) and our newest addition — an outdoor private shower with hot and cold running water. Seasonal use. Host is available via e-mail or phone The cottage is located at the end of Sunlight Beach Road, a small beach community on beautiful Useless Bay. Wonderful beach combing during low tide in the summers and a great getaway during winters. A birdwatcher's heaven. The cottage is located in the Northwest corner of Washington State between the Olympics and Cascades mountain range in Puget Sound. It is accessible by ferry on the Mukilteo-Clinton crossing, or driving down from Deception Pass. Labor Day, Memorial Day weekend, and New Year’s weekend are three-night minimum bookings. The Guest Book has useful information regarding the Cape Cod Cottage, Whidbey Island, and surrounding tourist activities. No bonfires or candles anywhere on the property.
