The Bird Cabin is one of the four cabins built in the 1920's by Suzy Bristol. Rests on the mountain side with a view of the meadows, and the Portneuf river rushing below. Seconds from hot springs! The space The Bird Cabin is a quaint and bright cabin. With its mint-chip interior, it will steal your heart away for a night back in time. One full-size bed, a chair, and a small counter, this cabin is refreshing with its simplicity, and has a beautiful view of the mountainside. Guest access We are a Rustic environment. A delicious homemade breakfast is served 8-10am. Guests will have 10+ acres of yard space, and a fire-pit and open fire grill for use. We live at the base of a mountain, so there is plenty of mountain side to explore. We are just a short walk away from down town Lava Hot Springs where shopping, tubing the river, and soaking in the many springs is available. During your stay Hosts may or may not be on the property at any time during your stay guests are subject to self-check ins that will be directed before guests arrival. Usually there is a host here through out the greater parts of the day. One host lives on property.
