A perfectly private place for a quiet and relaxing stay. With white water views of Muir Beach and easy few minutes walk to the sandy beach, you'll also have ready access to numerous hiking trails nestled in the stunning nature of Marin County, and still be just 35 minutes drive from downtown San Francisco. The Nice Guest Suite is clean, uncluttered, spacious--over 400 sq-ft, and with many amenities. Welcome snacks for your arrival included. The space The Nice Guest Suite is a studio located at the lowest level on the ocean/back side of the house where your hosts and family live. It has its own private, separate entrance and can accommodate up to 4 adult guests in two sleeping quarters and a sleeper sofa. The sleeping quarters are two separate, open/non-private, approximately 30” high, raised sleeping platforms. Each platform has a full/double size (55"x75" appx); 3" thick memory foam mattress top, on top of a 3” thick Japanese style, 100% cotton futon bed mattress that lays on top of a 3" thick sleeping foam pad; this setup is covered with a mattress pillow top and a mattress pad cover. The overall support/sleeping comfort is on the firm side. (Warning/for your own safety: the two sleeping platforms are higher than normal/typical beds and require walking up 3 steps. These sleeping quarters are not suitable for infants, children, or anyone who may fall off the bed.) The sleeper sofa is a two piece, simple IKEA fold-out, foam type pad on wood slat (52"x80" appx). The overall support/sleeping comfort is also on the firm side. Inasmuch as possible, sleeping material used is hypoallergenic, including provided duvets, pillows and bed linens. (Duvet's covers are changed in-between guests, no flat sheets are provided.) There is an open, fully equipped kitchen—electric cooktop, oven, refrigerator--with (filtered/drinkable) water dispenser and ice maker. The “over-the-cooktop” microwave oven/vent hood has regular oven functionality as well. (The vent is recirculating type.) A counter-top toaster/oven, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, coffee beans grinder, Hario type "pour over" cones/filters, electric water kettle, various cooking utensils, knives, cutting boards, and pots and pans are provided. Serving dishes, bowls, glasses, cups and silverware for 4 guests are provided. (Meals can be served in a casual setting, i.e.: countertop, coffee table, outside deck. There is no formal dinning table.) There is a bathroom with a privacy door for the toilet and shower stall. A small closet with hangers is available. A hair blow dryer, iron/ironing board and basic first aid kit are provided. Bath and hand towels are provided. There is WiFi connectivity and there is a TV that is set up for streaming content, you are welcome to logon to your own content provider account(s) for this service. (There is no cable nor satellite TV service.) There is a Bluetooth music player, you are welcome to connect and listen to your own music. There is also an air purifier with true HEPA filter. A few of the wall outlets have USB charging ports. The night lamps by the sleeping areas also have USB charging ports. There is a desk and an office chair. (If you must turn on your notebook and do some work, you certainly can...) (Please note that like in many areas in Muir Beach and nearby vicinity, cellular signal reception will be either poor, sporadic, or nonexistent.) There is an outside deck/balcony with two chairs that overlooks the ocean and the hills. (Your hosts recommend you make use of this instead of turning on your notebook...) Your hosts strive in making the Nice Guest Suite as welcoming, comfortable and functional as possible. A minimum of 24 hours time gap in-between guests is enforced. In keeping it simple and uncluttered, they have tried to minimally impose on you their decoration preferences, provide a flexible/adaptable environment, and to make it as straight forward as possible to maintain a high level of cleanliness. It is their objective that your stay will be a most enjoyable and memorable one. (Please refer to the Amenities section for further details.) Complimentary for your stay: 1. Your Welcome/"Happy Hour" snacks. May include cheeses, crackers, fruits, chocolates, a bottle of red wine, a bottle of sparkling water, host's very own brand--artisan, handmade Chantelle's Granola, fruits, coffee, tea. 2. Consumables/supplies: cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, butter, coffee beans, assorted K-cup coffee, assorted tea bags. Dish-washing liquid, general purpose spray cleaner, liquid hand soap, hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer gel. Guest access Please tell the hosts a bit about this trip when you submit your reservation request; i.e.: will you be one of the guests? how many in your group? purpose of your trip?, etc. Your help in welcoming you to the Nice Guest Suite is appreciated. Once your reservation request is accepted/reservation confirmed, then details such as physical address, recommended directions, premise’s parking (one guest vehicle), and access to the Nice Guest Suite and other relevant information will become visible in this Airbnb listing. The hosts regret that the Nice Guest Suite is not handicapped accessible. There are 40 steps (irregularly sized concrete/wood deck) down from the street to the Nice Guest Suite, and another 90 steps (irregularly placed wood blocks/gravel) down to the back street if you wish to walk to the beach or access some of the hiking trails. You must watch your steps... each and every one of them. Like almost everywhere in Muir Beach, it gets very dark at night in and around the Nice Guest Suite. In fact, unless there is a partial or full moon and it is not cloudy, the whole neighborhood is completely pitch dark at night. If you arrive after sundown on your check-in date or simply are out and about in the evenings/nights during your stay, each in your group must have handy a torchlight/flashlight, otherwise you may trip and fall. And yes, you definitely must watch your steps... each and every one of them. Other things to note We believe you will find the Nice Guest Suite welcoming and comfortable.
