A perfect quiet getaway in a cozy country setting. This A-Frame, 1980 Olympic home, was named a "Magical Home" because all this room appears as you enter. You'll enjoy a completely furnished house, sleeps 8, exposed beams, wooden interior walls, wall-to-wall carpeting, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, TV with cable, wifi, 2 1/2 baths, and washer/dryer. About 1.5 miles from town, 8 min. from Whiteface, and 6 miles from cross-country ski. Hike/ bike outdoor! Boat/golf within mins. The way the house is set up is perfect for 2 families or a group of friends. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds. There is a 1/2 bath upstairs with a toilet and sink. On the lower level there are 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed, the other with 3 twin beds with a full bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Downstairs is also where the laundry room is as well as a sitting room, great for kids to play without bothering the adults upstairs. If the children have video games, there is a tv downstairs that can be used by them. Just bring all your necessary TV connections. On the main floor is the other full bathroom with a tub/shower, toilet, and sink. This way there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready to meet on the main floor. You can enjoy the complete home inside and outside. There is a lockbox outside the door that I will give you the code to open it when you are about 1 hr. away. Inside you will find a key to let yourself in when you arrive. When you leave, please lock the door and put the key back in the lockbox. I will not be around, but through Airbnb, you will always get me through their messager page! Our home was built for the 1980 Olympic's held in LP. The house is unique and different, not like a regular home with this A-Frame style! There is an Uber service in the area. After your stay has ended, our cleaning service will come in to set up for the next rental. Our cleaning fee has increased by $50 since our cleaning service is using COVID standards. If you run into any problems, we have a caretaker that will be able to help you out. In the winter, the driveway will be plowed when all vehicles are out of the driveway. Also, there is a noise ordinance at 9:30 pm, so if you are enjoying the fire pit outside, listening to music, or loud noise please be respectful of your neighbors. Bring wood from home or buy some if you plan on having a fire. We do have some but it’s being used up. Make sure the day you are leaving that you clean up as well as you can including all dishes washed, taken out of the dishwasher, and put away. This helps the cleaning service when there is a back-to-back rental. All damp towels should be placed in the laundry room on top of the washing machine and not left in the bedrooms on the floor or beds. If you would like you can start a load of towels in the machine.
