The space Most houses out here do not have a yard but mine does...and you're welcome to it (although it's not been refurbished since hurricane Sandy so it's not a pretty as it used to be). The entrance to the space is private. If you have a bicycle or surfboard, there is ample storage space in the back of the house. (You'll need to provide your own locking mechanism.) FYI - The street view shows a neighboring street which is narrower than my street. My street is wide and has a more open feel. Guest access - Use of the side yard. - Outdoor storage in back of house for surfboards or other gear. Other things to note Long Beach requires a pass to access the beach, $15/day and they are not purchasable nearby my house. If you're traveling by train, purchase the ticket that includes the train fare and beach pass. You'll save some money.
