A perfect, private shangri-la 1.5 blocks from the beach. - Recent addition: smart TV - Beach towels and backpack beach chairs included - Ample storage - KIT has a combination convection/microwave/griller, coffee maker, hotplates, dishes, cookware, etc. - Serene BATH with spacious and versatile shower stall - Outdoor shower. Most houses out here do not have a yard but mine does...and you're welcome to it (although it's not been refurbished since hurricane Sandy so it's not a pretty as it used to be). The entrance to the space is private. If you have a bicycle or surfboard, there is ample storage space in the back of the house. (You'll need to provide your own locking mechanism.) FYI - The street view shows a neighboring street which is narrower than my street. My street is wide and has a more open feel. - Use of the side yard. - Outdoor storage in back of house for surfboards or other gear. I will (mostly) be on the premises during your stay however, I will, interact with you as much, or as little as you're comfortable with. Realtors call the neighborhood "the trendy West End" but locals just call it the West End. Almost everything here is walking distance....restaurants/bars, 24-hr deli, supermarket, beer distributor, pizzeria. Lots of restaurants deliver....and you can even get pizza delivered to the beach! Bus stop to the LIRR is down the block from the house. LIRR is 55 minutes to Penn Station in NYC. If your coming by car just know that parking is a challenge, especially in the summer. That's the reason that having things within walking distance is so beneficial. Once you find a parking space, you won't need to move the car until you leave. Long Beach requires a pass to access the beach, $15/day and they are not purchasable nearby my house. If you're traveling by train, purchase the ticket that includes the train fare and beach pass.
