Charming Cottage at the Beach

Newly remodeled 1940's cottage just 50 steps to the sand with fabulous beach and ocean views. Enjoy the ocean breeze from your front porch and watch people walk by. Go sunbathing and swimming, take a bike ride or a stroll on the beach, have a glass of wine and witness the most beautiful sunsets. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Ocean Beach. This bright and cozy cottage has everything you'll need to feel at home. The space Our beach cottage provides an ideal environment for families, couples or solo travelers. The house has been totally remodeled and designer decorated throughout with art pieces and little touches to enhance your vacation experience. The whole house is yours to enjoy as your home away from home. Guests may conveniently self-check-in using the assigned entry code provided prior to arrival. There is onsite parking in a single car garage located at the rear of the property. The front yard has a sitting area for you to relax and enjoy the fresh ocean air and wonderful views of the beach and coastline. The backyard has a seating area and a Weber grill for barbecuing your favorite dishes. Plan on preparing meals or snacks in a fully equipped kitchen that includes full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and more. It is fully stocked with pots and pans as well as all standard kitchen supplies. The living room has a comfortable Italian made sofa bed with high density memory foam mattress, dinette set and a 42" Smart TV. When it's time to call it a night, the guests can comfortably sleep on a queen-sized bed in the bedroom which has a built-in closet and a 32" Smart TV. The pull out sofa in the living room can sleep two and a roll away single bed can accommodate a fifth person. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower and is located next to the bedroom from which it is accessible. For our infant guests we provide a pack n play, where your baby can comfortably sleep or play and a high chair to make mealtimes a breeze. Little toddlers will enjoy playing with the sand toys on the beach. If you have any free time left you'll find all kind of games for all ages in the living room. The cottage has a heater and air conditioning. A washer and dryer are in a shed in the back of the cottage. For your enjoyment we offer beach chairs, sun umbrella, boogie boards, kids beach toys and a small cooler. The garage is located at the rear of the property and has alley access. There is a key pad on the garage wall to open the garage door. Tandem parking is not allowed. If you bring two cars, you will need to find street parking for your second car. Garage dimensions: Garage door opening - 92” Garage width - 118” Garage depth - 202” Street parking is also available. Ocean Beach is conveniently located close to the San Diego airport. Although planes can be heard throughout the day, our guests don’t find it bothersome. The planes only fly between the hours of 6:30 am and 11:30 pm, only departing planes fly over Ocean Beach area and they are relatively elevated. The cottage has double pane windows that reduce any noise to the minimum. Guest access The whole house is yours to enjoy as your home away from home.
