Consider being our guest in the charming neighborhood of Atwater Village...a place where you can leave the car keys & headaches of LA traffic behind to focus on the SoCal experience! My wife & I bought a quaint property with a separate duplex apartment behind our home. The space is an open floor plan of 600 sqft built in the 1950's that we proudly renovated with modern upgrades (new bathroom, kitchen, bedroom & living room, heating & A/C, convertible couch/bed, etc.). There is a coin-operated washer & dryer located onsite that is shared with our tenant in the other duplex apartment (we provide the cleaning supplies; you just need to pay the machine). Our home is located on a small street with polite & quiet neighbors. This NON-SMOKING/NO-PETS ground-level apartment features a cozy euro-pillow top queen mattress that is heavenly soft. We renovated the entire place with new bathroom & kitchen, new flooring & lighting, new furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. There is tons of closet space & storage. Amenities include everything you'd find at a hotel (towels, soap, shampoo, iron & board, etc.). The kitchen has a gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, plates, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs and utensils. The bathroom has a tub/shower with bath towels, wash cloths, a hand towel, a hair dryer and soap provided. We've got you covered for entertainment with the 32" smart TV (Netflix) & secured high-speed wifi. There is a selection of classic media ("books") and board games (available upon request) for those who desire a tech-free experience. The living room features a couch that converts to a full-size bed. Dining area seats 4. Guest access Open access to the property; keyless door entry simplifies your arrival. Street parking is available just outside the property on neighboring streets (be mindful of posted parking restrictions based on street cleaning on Thursday & Friday mornings from 8-10AM). Smokers are welcome outdoors away from the building, please use our ashtray. Other things to note **NOTE 1: Every one infant present during reservation counts as one additional guest/adult **NOTE 2: FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKING GUESTS** - AT LEAST 1 PERSON in your group must speak English, or at least translate the "House Manual" into your spoken language, and confirm that all guests in your party understand it. **NOTE 3: The person requesting to book is responsible for all of your guests knowing the information & expectations in this listing. **NOTE 4: Please don't use bath towels to clean makeup or spills. **NOTE 5: We provide a “starter kit” with toiletries and supplies for a short stay, but then guests are expected to purchase additional supplies for the rest of their trip. We have an indoor-only cat (Miette) and a dog (Winnie) that are NOT EVER allowed in the apartment for those of you with animal allergies.
