Nursing Station - West Wing

Welcome to quiet and beautiful Apex, the original inuit settlement of Iqaluit. We have tundra at our doorstep and wilderness just across the street, great for hiking - and skiing in the winter. The old Nursing Station was built in 1955 and is one of the oldest buildings. It has endured every blizzard so far. Only 5 min. walk to the shore and the old Hudson Bay post. All necessary amenities are 8 minutes drive away, including museum, restaurants, movie theatre, grocery stores, e.c. The space The building was totally renovated in Scandinavian style in 2000 - and again in 2019. The common living room and entrance, with high exposed beams and high ceilings - you can change your mind if need be without having to go outside since most of the time... it's cold outside! Guest access Private entrance, full bathroom, full kitchen, dining- and living room. Other things to note There are books and games available for your entertainment.
