Walkable to restaurants, coffee shops+bakeries, Trader Joes, CVS, hospital, and the Blue Bus line to Los Alamos / LANL. The space Artistically elegant and creative decor will surround you in this shared mid-century modern home in the coveted real-estate of the 'South Capital' area (meaning south of the State Capital). What's unique about my home is that you will be 1-5 minutes by car or walking distance to everything you could possibly need - such as several coffee shops+bakeries, Santa Fe Baking Co, Dulce and Clafoutis - Maria's Mexican restaurant, Paper Dosa Indian restaurant, Trader Joes', CVS drug store, banks, bus line to Los Alamos, and St. Vincent's Hospital. The famous Santa Fe Plaza, Railyard, and Canyon Road area are also walkable. Your private room has comfortable bunk-style bed with double/full size mattress below (with or without feather topper) and twin mattress on top. This bed is comfortable for 1-2 guests and good for singles or friends and family traveling together. There’s a desk and your private bath with towels, toiletries, tub/shower is across the hall. Your Private bath across the hall has a shower and tub with towels, soaps and hair products available. You'll have access to the kitchen, TV in the living room, wireless Internet, washer/dryer, living/dining room with fireplace, and charming back yard with verdant veggie garden in the summer months. There is also good street parking in a very safe neighborhood. Conveniently located between 2 parks, you can enjoy the city sport complex 1 block west -with tennis courts, children's park - and the indoor lap pool and gym are just $4 per visit. Then, 1/2 block to the east is the beloved and beautiful Rose Park. Also 2 blocks north you'll find one of Santa Fe's premier spa and yoga studios at Body of Santa Fe - one of the gems of Santa Fe parks. The main city attractions, Santa Fe Plaza, Rail Yard Area, and Canyon Road are just a 5 minute drive or or about a 15-20 minute walk away (1.5 miles to the Plaza) and a public bus stop is right by the Rose Park nearby. I keep my hand on the pulse of what’s happening in Santa Fe plus in a 'past life', I was a certified tour guide specializing in art and shopping tours so I will happily give my best suggestions for all there is to do, see, eat, hike, etc. in and around town - as well as the northern New Mexico area, according to your interests and curiosities. Guest access This is a shared house and you'll have full access your own bedroom and bath across the hall, the kitchen, living/dining room with TV, and back yard patio. For breakfast - coffee and tea are provided and guests enjoy venturing out for a famous green chili breakfast burrito or three favorite pastry spots nearby. During your stay I work in my home office so I am often around and available for advice, guidance and local recommendations.
