The Diamond House, cozy home in park-like setting

Located 7 miles north from the airport ferry terminal, 10 miles north of downtown, and 5 miles from Knudson Cove and Clover Pass. One bedroom with a queen and a queen pull-out couch in living room. Single cot available upon request. Three couches and a smart TV. Kitchenette has cooking utensils/equipment, coffee maker, microwave, rice cooker, hotplate, electric skillet, ect. NO STOVE. The “Diamond House” was built in the 80's by a local man named Mr. Diamond who was known for his smoked fish. The space When booking the “Diamond House” guests have private access and are permitted to the entire house. Self-check in lockbox is located next to the front door. The house has a cozy cabin-like feel with its open floor plan and tall, open ceiling. Endless WiFi. This is a one bedroom, one bathroom home with an open concept kitchenette and living space. In addition to the queen bedroom, there is a queen pull out couch in the living room, along with a small futon and an additional couch. A folding cot and pack and play are available upon request to accommodate 4/5 people if you want to squeeze. All bedding/blankets/towels/washrags/soaps are provided. The home features hardwood floors throughout the house. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to make meals. There is NO STOVE in the kitchenette, however the house is well equipped with all the necessary kitchen gadgets, including an electric skillet, small gas grill outside, rice cooker, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, basic utensil, plates, bowls, cups/mugs, salt/pepper and cooking oil. The kitchen table has seats for 4 guest. Guest will also have access to a 7.5 cubic foot freezer, for storing your Alaskan home pack, located outside in the carport. Guest access There is ample parking within the property to park cars, trucks, and RV’s. If you have a boat/trailer, please contact host prior to booking, depending on size they may be approved. Guests are welcome to use the covered breezeway and porch area that are shared between the guest house and the owners home. The owners live in a separate house on the property with their standard poodle, Rainy. Use of the fire pit, located on the edge of the property, is also permitted. Firewood will be provided. Other things to note We Love dogs and people, BUT any undeclared dog or person/s upon booking, you will be charged $100 per infraction in addition to the original cost per night per dog or person.
