A rustic cabin, minimum solar powered electric-NO WIFI- 30min by taxi, dirt road, up hill, 4x4 drive, Checkin before 6pm. NO Pet Guest still can use their phone data. Movistar has better receptio up on the mountain. If you would you like to be hidden away from busy daily life for a while this place is a perfect place for you, reconnecting your body, mind, and spirit with nature, and inspiring, allowing yourself to drink in the amazing creative spirit here on top of the mountain. The space A magical place, atop a hill overlooking the Podocarpus National Park and Vilcabamba Valley, this is indeed an enchanted mountain with the wind, morning mist, clouds, the moon and the sun, rainbow all in harmony. Artist Residence Enchantingwind(ARE) is for the people who just want to immerse themselves and nature. It is a great place to do yoga, to meditate, to create art or just wander around mountains, NOT a place for entertainment. You can get to ARE by taxi or walk. The road comes up to my house. It takes about 30min from town(Vilcabamba) and cost $12. I normally walk from bottom of the mountain to my house taking about 1 hr. Guest access You have access the whole cabin you stay and of course, the whole mountain is waiting for you to explore. And guest has access to using Laundry machine but it's $5 per load. Other things to note We have electricity generated by a solar panel for use of internet and charging small electronic devices and to lit the room. But sometimes, when it’s heavily over casted the power may not enough. You are going to wake up when the sun comes up. You are going to bed when the sun goes down. I believe It is a great way to harmonize your body and mind with nature.
