Glamping Near Acadia

Our private, off grid glamping experience is the perfect way to relax and unwind after exploring the nearby coast of Maine. The six acre property is located just 15 minutes from Mount Desert Island and five minutes from downtown Ellsworth, malls and amenities. The yurt and adjacent campsite comfortably sleep up to six adults. While firewood is included for the indoor cast iron wood stove, sleeping bags are a must have in the cooler months. The space The property offers a scenic getaway for those who desire immersion in nature near while still enjoying some modern comforts. The wood heated yurt offers a quiet space for enjoying the areas peaceful forests and wildlife. This space includes a wood stove, access to an outdoor solar heated shower as well as a composting outhouse. The yurt is a fifteen minute drive to the National Parks beautiful scenery and is about the same distance from Blue Hill and Schoodic Point. Jedidiah the caretaker will be on site to answer any questions or offer recommendations. There is great cell service at the property. Guest access Guests will have have access to the adjacent camp site, picnic table and fire ring as well as to the entire six acre property including all of its forests, streams and meadows. The solar shower and outhouse are a quick stroll from the yurt. Other things to note While Pillows and Extra blankets are provided, guests are encouraged to bring their own linens. Soap, Bed sheets and linens are not provided.
