Swift Mountain Lodge - log house by the river

Surrounded by forests, mountains, and rivers, this exceptional Canadian log house welcomes you with rustic charm and complete privacy in a truly secluded natural setting. At the same time, you do not have to sacrifice comfort and a certain level of luxury, while the town of Valemount still remains within walking distance. Swift Mountain Lodge is situated on 40 acres of private land in a peaceful clearing beside a river that becomes famous in late summer for its salmon run. The space The gentle sound of the nearby river, the secluded location surrounded by nature, and the breathtaking view across the wooded valley towards the opposite mountain range create an atmosphere of complete peace and relaxation. Swift Mountain Lodge can be reached via a private access road that is maintained year-round and leads directly from the village of Valemount. Despite the absolute tranquility and privacy, the village itself can still be reached within a 15-minute walk. There you will find several shops and amenities, including a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, drugstore, bank, as well as various cafés and restaurants. The house is surrounded by a spacious veranda extending around three sides of the building, offering both sunny and shaded spots throughout the day for relaxing and enjoying nature. In addition, a terrace beside the house invites guests to enjoy cozy campfires and barbecue evenings. Also located next to the house are a traditional log sauna and a wood-fired outdoor hot tub for special moments of relaxation. Swift Mountain Lodge is fully furnished and well equipped. The kitchen offers sufficient dishes and cooking utensils, as well as a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, and stove. Bed linen and towels are, of course, provided for our guests. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living and dining area, where a wood-burning stove creates a particularly cozy log cabin atmosphere. Additional underfloor heating can also be used. The room is generously furnished with comfortable seating areas and invites guests to relax together. Adjacent to the living area is the spacious kitchen with an open connection to the dining room, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. A small bathroom with toilet and sink is also located on the ground floor. In the lower level, there are two bedrooms as well as a bathroom with a spacious bathtub and separate shower. A washing machine and dryer are also available downstairs. The upper floor offers two additional bedrooms, one of them featuring a large balcony with stunning views across the valley towards the surrounding mountains. A stylish bathroom with shower is also located upstairs. Other things to note In general, pets may be brought along. Unfortunately, however, we are unable to allow dogs inside the house.
