Front and Center! Playa Grande oceanfront "penthouse" suite. This multi-level suite occupies the third and fourth floor of Hotel Las Tortugas (unit is just two floors), with stunning panoramic ocean views from the terrace. Does NOT have a full kitchen but includes a wet bar with microwave, coffeemaker and mini fridge. Our restaurant is conveniently located right downstairs for easy access to meals. The space Please note that there is only a shower and sink in the upper bathroom. Playa Grande is a light-sensitive environment. For the conservation of the turtles and other wildlife, we keep all outdoor lighting to a minimum. The moon and stars help a lot when they are out, but we suggest bringing a flashlight (or use the flashlight app built into most cellphones) for walking outside at night. Please review the numerous online travel guides concerning Playa Grande; the area is somewhat rural and undeveloped, yet close (by car) to more tourist-oriented areas like Tamarindo. Our accommodations are best suited for guests who plan primarily to enjoy our hotel amenities and the natural surroundings of the pristine beach of Playa Grande.
