The space Beach House @Tiki OceanFront -Large En-Suite Queen and Private Bath: Begin your "Dolphins Quiet Corner Queen bedroom" holiday with a Welcome Cocktail specially made by the ever-smiling, effervescent hostess. Then kick off your holiday in Paradise and slip into the "Tiki Life" in one of the three separate Private bedrooms in this beautiful, luxurious, laid-back 3 bedroom and 2 full bathroom cottage at the top of the sand dunes. Your Dolphin bedroom has a Private bathroom and Private Entrance. Rear double windows overlook the dirt road and public access - and large side windows let in all the Ocean breezes and north views of the ocean. Enjoy a complimentary welcome cocktail as you relax in the expansive multiple seating areas on the sprawling decks overlooking the ocean and the private beach front yard. Fresh Fruit, Free Snacks, Magazines and free books to take are available all day... Enjoy the upper level Porches or Head out to the many local, casual or fine dining restaurants a short walk, bike ride or taxi ride away. When the Oceanfront Cottage attached is rented out to other guests (most of the time in Summer), you will NOT have access to the Living room, Dining area, Kitchen, and other two bedrooms in the front part of this level of the Beach House @Tiki 2B 1ba Cottage. Other times, when the front two bedrooms are rented to individuals, those guests and you will share a full kitchen, dining area and large living room and porches. Be sure to INQUIRE when you book to be sure you understand if the kitchen will be available or not for your booking. Either way, relax on the upper level private outdoor wrap-around decks for your use during your stay. Free wi-fi and Cable TV as well. Well-behaved dogs (must be pre-approved) are allowed downstairs in your Room, but may not be brought upstairs into the Owners home & B&B area. Of course, you are welcome to come gran some coffee, midnight snacks, and generally use the living room and kitchen (no cooking) up there. I reside upstairs in a separate cottage, so you will see me coming and going. You should also note I have a German Shepherd Mix dog (born October 2015), so she will also be coming and going. She is inside my quarters when I am gone and at night. When she is not running along the beach or going for her walks. If you need additional rooms, or have friends joining you, I ALSO offer TWO additional upstairs BEDROOMS in my own cottage upstairs: Beach House @Tiki Oceanfront KING Beach House @Tiki Oceanfront Queen These third level private rooms have some listings that may include breakfast, always include coffee, teas, and our Welcome to Tiki Cocktail as well. I provide bath towels, bedsheets, blankets, and pillows in your bedroom. Just come and relax. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and use of the upstairs bathroom that is also stocked with additional amenities as needed. You will wish to bring your own Beach Towels and beach chairs. As a B&B-style guest. you will have the free use of our chairs and umbrellas - complimentary. I can help you arrange kayak, bicycle, or surfboard rentals - delivered to your door! Guest access Walk to everything! Thursday nights the Tiki Bar nearby has Live Beach Music by local as well as well-known bands on the Ocean Grill Tiki Bar just a five minute walk down the beach. No car needed!!! Personally, we like to bicycle whether going to Kure Beach or the Fort Fisher ferry over to Southport where I bike a short 10 to 15 minutes to the restaurants there, or to the Carolina State Park for hiking along the Cape Fear River, or just biking to the famous Carolina Beach boardwalk for an early morning yoga class or a late afternoon beer. Walk on over to meet up with some friends in the evening. Uber everywhere else! Being on the oceanfront, parking is limited. I usually have space for one car per rented guestroom. There is also paid meter parking on the side street across from the ocean, a short walk from our Oceanfront cottage. During your stay We will welcome you at check-in with a complimentary specially hand-crafted Welcome to Tiki Cocktail as you settle into the "Tiki Life". We will leave a tray of snacks and goodies in your private bedroom to help yourself to during your stay at Beach House @Tiki. Enjoy a relaxing day at the beautiful, white sand beach just a few steps on our private beach walkway to Paradise or just lounge on the spacious outdoor decks of our beautiful Beach House @Tiki. ENJOY the TikiLife!!! Other things to note I also offer non-professional guided kayaking trips (one tour through Cypress glades, another tour around the Fort Fisher tidal basin amidst sea grasses and marshes and even to the beach dunes), nature walks (one walk to the Fort Fisher 1950s Hermit's Hut, another walk through Carolina State Park beside the river and an island woods trail), gentle yoga & meditation on the beach, or a special international cooking class (Sweden, Thailand, India, French, Etc.), or a candlelight five course meal prepared and served oceanfront for just you and your guest(s) as optional services, if you like. No where else in Wilmington: Oceanfront Dining for Two - request a romantic customized, catered five-course gourmet meal served tableside to you on the ocean balcony – includes a free bottle of premium wine!!! Or just do nothing and relax with a good book - bring a book or trade a book. We have a large free library shelf of books to take, as well as games to enjoy while staying in our lovely beach villa. Please note that I have a mixed Shepherd puppy (born October 2015), so she will also be coming and going. She is crated when I am gone and at night. This also means, for you dog lovers, that your friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome to come along as well. Well-behaved and trained dogs may be permitted to join your family. Carolina Beach has recently voted to permit visitors to walk their leashed dogs on the beach in the mornings and evenings throughout the summer - and there are MANY, MANY dog-friendly restaurants nearby! We require your dog's name and breed, as well as vet's name so we may verify vaccinations and health of all dogs to keep everyone safe. A MANDATORY NIGHTLY dog fee is requested via Airbnb after verification. We will provide a large crate for you to keep your dog happy and safe when you go out for dinner or are at the beach during the day.
